At first, I was hoping against hope that Seungdon will reinstate Gangju to his previous position. My jaw dropped....

I mean Taewoong might be his biological son but how much do you know about him to allow him to live with you? He is a stranger. What if he was out to destroy you and your Jiseung Group IF he were still angry about being abandoned?

This part of the story is incredulous and that's thanks to the Writer. 😐😑

I think Gidong felt that Miyeon wanted a relationship with him because his restaurant business is doing well.

Miyeon actually said "Boss, your business is doing very well." just before Gidong asked her to step out of the restaurant to "break up".
He thinks that Miyeon is a money grubber without any real feelings for him.

Oh! I suddenly recalled today that Bonghee did tell grandparents that Miyeon's ex had an affair and the woman is pregnant. But idk why they still dislike her . It is as if "divorce" is taboo.

That's why she needed to get to know his character & background better. Obviously, he must have been badly hurt in his previous marriage.

Yes, I found the grandparents' hostile treatment of Aunt Miyeon mind boggling. Could it be Miyeon did not tell the whole truth about her ex to her parents? If she did, I cannot figure why.

Kim Jung Hyun deserved an award for the first 20 minutes or so of episode 22.
His powerful and emotional acting must be tiring to do.

My personal opinion is Bonghee was not trying to get together with Seungdon but she tried to reconcile him with Taewoong. Her immediate concern is always her children and parents-in-law.

The Lee family is in deep trouble now as they don't have enough money for granny's cancer treatment and grandfather's hospital stay. If Bonghee's red cheeks is a symptom of a serious illness, they will be in deeper trouble.

Gangju has been nothing but kind and compassionate to everyone even the cleaner at the office so from his eyes gazing at Darim in the hospital, I am sure that he will give some money back to the Lee family.

I think all the Writers have had a meeting and all agreed that most villains would be forgiven and live together with their families. I have watched kdramas for a long time and noticed this trend.
Personally, the things that some villains did, in other dramas, were evil enough to be jailed so as to send a message that the evil should be punished.

It just crossed my mind that Seungdon, Jiyeon, Gangju & Taewoong might ... might live together as a family in the end. 😳

I have noticed writers like the everyone-lives-happily-together ending.

Ok, mum & grandparents will not be reported for taking the money. 🤭

When Gangju insisted on taking the money in grandparents' room, Darim should not stop him. Gangju will not tell his mum where he found her money. So It is better for Gangju to be the one to return the money to his mum rather than Darim shows herself in front Jiyeon and confessed her mum & grandparents stole her money, she is returning it now and to forgive her family.
