I also don't think it was a forced happy ending for the second leads. For me, it showed incredibly growth on Soo-cheol's side.
And yes, what Dah-hye did to Soo-cheol was incredibly awful.

I'm pretty sure she was pregnant before meeting Soo-cheol, perhaps unknowingly. And this may be controversial, but I don't believe she is an evil person. Yes, what she did to him was awful and terrible and you absolutely don't have to like her but it's way more nuanced than that.

Yeah, well said. To be honest as much as I despise his face every time it is onscreen, my opinion of him has changed quite a bit. As they have been revealing his childhood traumas I have started to pity him just a little bit. His mother is the root of all his pain and suffering. He literally has no one in his life. It is no wonder he keeps clinging onto Hae-in. She is the only person in his life that has ever shown any care for him by putting a bandage around his knee when he saved her from the dog. Whereas, his mother is unbelievably toxic and hasn't ever shown any ounce of love. All I want from him now is to bring his mother down, step a side and be content with Hae-in being happy with Baek Hyun Woo, and lastly and most importantly seek some help in therapy.

Rightt!!! What was that preview! It starts all sweet and lovey-dovey and then suddenly we see another car crash!!! My heart can't take this!! Can we just get a happy ending for our main leads already and be done with the villains for good.

This one really had everyone on the same emotional rollercoster. My emotions are everywhere watching this show. One moment I'm sobbing and the next I'm giggling at the cuteness between the leads or cackling at Aunt Beom-ja.

Tbh both main leads in this drama don't have to say a word and yet a lot is said with their eyes and expressions.They are both top tier actors.

Agreed!! He is deserving of the nomination. He is an incredible actor. My only issue with the nominations this year is that Kim Ji Won wasn't also nominate. Imo her acting is just as good as his and she has the same ability to evoke such emotion with her acting. However, that being said that there I've just found out that many other good female actresses got snubbed this year.
