In all truth i hate it when story tellers build up characters with such morals, strengths and capabilities worthy enough for them to be in places of high status, only to let those characters take the easy road. I mean we have enough bad ppl at top so why wont they let a good person run things better. It happens all the time its frustrating. K drama Perfect Crown was one such drama, the plot appeal went down the moment they decided to abolish crown, like they wld have made a great king and queen. So much wasted potential. And here I want Lan Xiang to live up to her true potential, like its her birthright, she deserves it. I dont want her to slave her life away for a no gut scholar in the name of a peaceful life.
