That was kinda lie he referred Lilly there as mother. When they opened the safe in ep 4 and see their real parents photo their parents are clearly different people.

But he did say a few times he wanted Xiabao to marry and live a ''good life''.Personally, the way I see it Su Yin didn't truly love or seeXiaobao as an equal person he just thought of him as his property or pet. Like a fish in the aquarium, Su Yin wanted Xiaobao to live a life he sees right under his watch.

I think the heavenly realm overall is a tribulation.

Hmm so book is very different like White's dad isn't a politician or Yok's mom isn't deaf. The people who beats Black were supposed to beat Sean. Sean, Yok and twins are childhood friends and two of them know White is pretending Black only Gram doesn't know. When they are children Yok accidentally pushes White, car hits him and White lost his memory but Black thinks Sean did it, that's why they have bad blood. The biggest twist is that Black has schizophrenia, he is very protective and possessive about White. Gram has feelings for Black and they are a thing, it wasn't certain that they were a couple but they did sleep together. Yok and Dan dated in the past but they break up. Dan knows twins, they are close friends and he helps a lot White.

There isn't that much action tbh mostly focusing the romance, school life etc. Book is very simple it has classic BL elements, thank god they are changing everything making it so much better. Most of these spoilers I'm talking about don't gonna happen I'm sure, so don't take them seriously.
