Thanwa actually helped Koon by moving his head a little so he say the cheaters.

I keep saying it and will say it again Mark is amazing. He needs a good staring role where he's not almost lost in a large crowd as in Only Friends. Even in that his chemistry with First was epic, having one of the most wholesome friendships in a BL ever.
Namtam, as an actress, is a pure joy to watch. I still think she was one of the best Thai baddies ever as Giwi in The Player.
I never expected both Mark and Namtam to have such explosive chemistry together! Hope they get a good series to act in!

If it's one tiny flaw is that Namtam and Mark do not have more screen time seperately or together. However, both use what time they are onscreen to great effect. I don't think lesser actors than them could have filled their few scenes to such effect.

Thai people also put ice in their beer. I'm from the Caribbean, just as tropical, and we don't do that either!

Although not getting much screen time, both Mark and Namtan bring so much weight to their scenes. I don't think many other actors could pull of that much screen presence in such a small time. Part of it is also
Aof's directing. He is getting the best and most out of all these actors!
Mark needs an opportunity to shine. Yes, he was good in Only Friends but was lost in the large cast. He is a great actor. Never expected him to be so perfect with Namtan. Maybe a good drama with the two of them staring, and not a romcom.
Namtan just slays any role she is in. She was amazing in Who Are You and is still the best baddie I've seen in any Thai drama, GMM and all the others, as Giwi in The Player.

This is how you do a second season! You see the characters grow and change! You see them move from strength to strength!
Shiro just smiling more at Kenji was so previous! He accepts his love for him. They being each other's support through trying times was just beautiful to see. No major manufactured turmoil nor fake drama, just love and support.

The essence with a real Thai spin and a little more serious tone.

Time for a Season 2. Niko deserves the best!

I thought introducing the dad would be the downhill slide. Boy was I gratefully wrong! Day's dad just strengthened the other characters, showing us that guilt for past actions can haunt you for a long, long time, and helping us understand Night and his mother a whole lot more.
Well written, directed, and acted!

Mark needs a proper staring role. Not like in Only Friends to be overshadowed by the cast, but a good, independent role. Maybe a deep story with him and Namtan, not just a rom-com?

OMG! The cars! Actual, real racing cars! And characters tuning and working on them! Although it's sponsored by Toyota we see all different cars racing! If this was GMM all the hero race cars would be Supras and baddies others! Babe's favorite car is a Nissan!
Babe's got a Datsun 510 in his living room! A Datsun 510!
Damit! Babe and Charlie need to do their thing more around that car just to get her in more shots!

Who would have thought the day-to-day lives of two 40-something-olds would make for one of the best BLs out of Japan?
This was enthralling from beginning to end!
I loved how no character was toxic, each just had traits that may seem annoying, but did become enduring.
Perfection.

The lack of hugging and kissing perfectly represents Japanese culture.
It also shows that not all "love" relationships have to be physical and touchy feely.
When Kayoko slipped and almost left out the San with Kenji at their dinner thew reaction of the others was just precious!

This drama didn't know what it wanted to be. Did it want to be an unreliable narrator? Did it want to be unrequited love? Did it want to be a comedy? Did it want to be serious? Pick a style and stick to it!
This had great potential. The set-up was already there. Failed execution.

Nut is such an expressive actor. Sometimes his happiness can be overwhelming if he overacts, but he can do sad and angry with real effect.

It's one of the best dance scenes in a BL ever.
That was the first time I was vexed when an electricity supply was restored!

Any slow dance scene I compare to the one from Gaya Sa Pelikula. That's the best dance scene with a purpose in any BL. And, yes, you are right where all those you mention equal GSP's dance for pure beauty, execution, and fitting into the storyline!

Thai BL's do more for Thai tourism than all their tourist boards/ bureaus combined :D

I don't see it as "ableist". Day is still a somewhat independent character apart from his disability. He is in the early stages of adjusting and will require a lot of help. Mork gifting him the fish slippers so he won't hurt himself was not ableist but allowed Day to have a little more independence for example.
Day also had his condition suddenly come up. It's not like his sight was deteriorating over the years and he had time to adjust to change. I could see him as being angry and snappy. He was an athlete in a sport that requires hand-eye coordination, so he came to depend on that sense a lot.
Mork, at first, just saw a spoiled rich guy and did not pity his condition. It was in trying to live like a visually impaired person that he began to have empathy for Day's situation. Mork is done well. He realises that Day needs to get out more and get over the depression. He is very supportive when Day wants to go out, may be a tad overprotective at times, but he is allowing Day to grow.
Night is doing his best to support him also. When a family member has a sudden disability it can be testing on the entire family. The portrayal of Night trying his best, but losing it at times is well written.
Aon is portrayed as a very independent character and that's important for representation.
The producers could have shown Day receiving classes at the blind institute on how to live with his condition. That may be the only real little nibble I have.

I'm happy they didn't make Night gay. Don't get me wrong: characters can be gay, but not every character has to be! We can have a nice couple like Phojai and Night be the second couple and still enjoy the show!
BTW Mark and Namtan are the new Thai power couple!
