Title The Gifted Graduation Spoiler
Ep10. Wait. What?
Yuth was Supot but the real Yuth thought he was Supot and the real Supot made him (the real Yuth who thought he was Supot) kill himself?
All this time Chanon was working for Director Supot?

I just want to appreciate some really interesting camera choices in the scene of Karl & Vlad's kiss, which looks…
Perfect directing!!!

This is EXACTLY what I want in a BL drama. The plot doesn’t need to be complicated, it just needs to be written…
It's so horrid when characters are made toxic just for the sake of drama. There is that horrid trope of the spurned GF becoming evil (I'm looking at you My Day). Here we see no toxic characters, just those, like Judit, who had toxic traits but are trying to be redeemed. That's good writing, when the simplest of concepts can reach perfection.

I'd say ep.7 is tied with gameboys ep.12. Perfect tension and feelings for the penultimate episode!
Here's to hoping Savero (Like in the Movie's writer) can be as good as Malanum (GB's writer)!
Sorry, Habac, I know you don't like to be compared to the other BL's. You've already carved out a niche with the realism here, but comparisons will be made!

Man, this episode made me cry sooo bad. This episode though is a statement of how great the writing is, especially…
There are no toxic characters! Every single one has depth and width. Each has his/ her own perspectives which are plainly shown! Perfect character writing!

OMG! OMG! That ep.7! Omg!
This is now tied with Gameboys for epicest of 2020! Ep.7 just had so many feels! The jokes were just perfectly spliced so it wasn't overdone! Felt so organic!
Let's talk about uncle Santi! Has there been a better character? Supportive, yet down to earth. Judith is the sister who is seeking forgiveness and wants to be an "ally" and her interactions with him are so great!
Hats off to Paolo who is just playing the confused character to perfection! So encapsulates the raw emotion of Karl!
Savero is a genius for writing this epic! Habac is direction perfection! But we must acknowledge Patricia Lasten for the best, absolute killer OST of all times! There have been great OST's but this one takes the cake, bakery, and food industry!

BTW: the video Vlad was projecting for the gazebo scene:

Ep.9 had more twists and turns than trying to navigate traffic in Jakarta!
What's really going on?
It began to feel like some parody where the good guy and bad guy keep outwitting eachother with twists and turns!

What's responsible for this slew of well-written dramas from The Philippines?
We are getting such creative stories with amazingly three dimensional and relatable characters. Gameboys, Hello Stranger, Quaranthings, and the others!

The writing here is smart, mature, funny, sweet, the OST is 10/10, the acting is perfect. Each episode has been…
It's epic! Just slightly behind Gameboys. Maybe by a 0.05 just for the arguing scene in GB and how it was perfectly resolved without being to cliché.

On a rewatch of ep.6 (I don't really rewatch many episodes of anything) there were so many perfect elements in this story!
-Judith displaying her upper-class accent shifts
- Karl holding the stormtrooper bust akin to Shakesphere because he wants to be a writer
- The perfect use of texting and phone calls: not too overdone nor cliche
- Karl automatically loading 2 cups of rice, then stalling remembering he only needs 1
- Karl's abandonment which is so against his controlled personality!
- Let's not talk about the most amazing placement of an OST ever, period! Couldn't be a better song to perfectly express the timing, scene, and mood! Coming Home gave me goosebumps!
- The kiss was neither fan service nor just for placement. It was the perfect representation of the mood and intent! Karl's little back turn before rushing into it was just the finishing touch to cap off his newfound freedom!
- Vlad still holding the keys during the kiss.

Speaking of Karl's change, it's neither overdone nor unexpected. We see that Vlad has influenced his personality. From the first time Karl saw him, he was awestruck. The preceding episode set up well how he admired Vlad for certain attributes. That was possibly one factor causing Karl to rebel the way he did. Even from the beginning, we see that Karl didn't want to pursue architecture and then we get the real story behind it.

The writer had Vlad explain to Karl the nuances of scripting a good story, then went on to use it himself to perfection! Juan Miguel Severo is a genius!

I absolutely love the Dean!
Moira's forgiveness was actually quite good, a little rushed but you could see the direction.
We didn't see Kim and Jake :(
The most unrealistic thing was all the characters being at the grad! When last did you attend a university grad where so many people could turn up, even for the Valedictorian???
Anyway, I don't think there has been a drama with this much wrong and this much good at the same time!
