I'm still hoping against hope for some sort of reboot or continuation. It was so real life, so relevant! Yes, dramadom is about escapism, but series like Part Time are a slice of reality! I have enjoyed series after, but none match the debt of PT!
To the potential viewers: this is more like a slice of someone's life. It does not have a traditional "story" as a movie or drama. There is no antagonist. It just shows someone who has been diagnosed with HIV and the stigmas that various parts of society put on him. It also shows the failure of many of the institutions one comes into contact with every day. If you are going into this thinking it's a story like Gameboys or Oh Mando it is not.

That very day Ride Home played on my MP3 rotation. At the beginning of the scene, I'm thinking Ben and Ben's Ride Home would be the best song here, still thinking about how Pearl commented on Gav's reference listening to that band in Gameboys. When the first chords came on I got goosebumps! They fit the entire scene perfectly into the whole song! As perfect as the official video's story! Couldn't be any better! TYL is now one of my favs! Ikaw, Fools, and Kilometre Zero are just beautiful!

GMMTV is wholly corporate. We can see this in how they milk the actors for all they are worth. From promotion (which the Thais are amazing at), to live performances, to endorsements. They are riding the wave of the BL, giving the generic fan what they want: handsome boys finding themselves in relationships. Sorry, not sorry, but this just creates the generic BL story which is becoming, IMHO, like Indian movies: generic and quick turnover. Nadao Bangkok is still a subsidiary of GMM, but not as collar starched corporate. This little independence has resulted in the amazing production I Told Sunset About You. NB also has other good works. This lack of corporatizing, so far, has allowed the Philippines to produce some amazing works like Gameboys, Gaya Sa Pelikula, Hello Stranger, Ben X Jim, and other great series set to premiere. These production houses can actually focus on story and character, instead of pandering to the mass BL loving demographic. Just look at the reactions to the end of Gaya Sa Pelikula! So many BL fans hated it!
