That scene was pure perfection. The audience was like a neighbour looking in on a lover's quarrel. It wasn't forced. It felt so real!

That's because there was no fake drama for drama's sake. All the issues we can relate to real jealousy, quarantine, loneliness, feelings of abandonment.
The only very, very small issue I have is Cai's GF could have been developed a little more. I did love how he said he forgave her, but can't forget what she did.

It's more fluffy and situational than any sort of created drama. It's a nice, simple coming of age story with a good twist at the end.

It was a total masterclass that all short dramas need to apply the formulae!

Pinoys speak a mix of languages. If you listen carefully you will hear pure Spanish too . Pilipino (basically evolved from Tagalog) and English are the official languages but they speak in a real mix of Tagalog, English and Spanish.
Their history is rich, having been a Spanish colony then administered under the US. The mix shows up in the language and names too.
