loved episode 6!!! so many great moments.. now I can't wait for the competition :)
This had great potential from the start. Ep.6 proved it! The only thing that could have bettered the first 5 episodes was to see a gradual change in Ace rather than a seemingly overnight one.

Kokoy and Elijah made the characters theirs. The argument scene has to be one of the best ever in any drama, western, eastern, or any region. One of the best actors for timing and facial expression is Singto and I must say both Kokoy and Elijah have met him in performance ability. The writing was epic. Each character has a completely different personality, likes, and dislikes. They felt like individuals and not just in the drama for drama's sake. Again, the argument scene had a pure build-up. I can't say it enough how organic it felt, and how the development was perfect for the explosion. This is the first drama episode I've ever watched more than 3 times and each time it still gets to me! The directing was superb. Tight and wide shots when needed, playing with the available rooms, and lighting was just on spot! Even for Cairo who spent most of his time in his game room, there were subtle differences when needed.
Episode 12 is the peak of thespian abilities of the two main leads that will leave most of other BL actors’…
The escalation felt real and organic! There was a build-up of emotions then the crescendo! Not just drama for drama sake. Epic acting on both paths to bring it across so successfully too!

The development of this conflict seem real and organic, not forced. A lot of dramas just add conflict for conflict sake, but this one had a real evolution and wasn't just some outside force.
Out of all the Filippino BLs that came out lately, I like HS the best :-)
One of the best points of the series is this is the very definition of coming of age. The characters actually grew and changed through being exposed to each other. Mico learns to keep his comments in check and how his words affect other people; and Tony goes on a whole world of change which even Crystal acknowledges is for the best. So many BL dramas, and dramas in general, really miss what the phrase "coming of age" means but HS hit that nail on the head!
Wow! Things escalated so quickly! This is one of the few times conflict in a BL story actually feels organic. Not forced, but developed out of real issues of communications. Just sad it has to come in Ep.12, so close to the ending. Elijah and Coco have so much chemistry that I can honestly say this is one of the few times any drama has had me this engrossed in a conflict!

This is the main issue I have with this series. The premise is a good one: intern being placed into a high stakes competition and attracted to the boss or whatever will develop between them. Ace is now really a "nice" guy by the next episode. Somehow he went from the meanie who fired interns for little things to quite a nice guy and, basically team hero? There was no real build-up to this sort of turn. Getting back Chouxchoux and thanking Sky after firing him should just be one step and not the entirety of his redemption arc! Since getting into East Asian dramas it has always been an issue with me about the portrayal of the effeminate gay. In the Thai dramadom it's as bad. All the main characters are masculine macho, and the comic relief is over the top or a transgender. In one Thai drama, 3 Will Be Free a trans was positioned as an extremely strong character. She was very serious and ended up being the hero. Amazingly the actress was also dark-skinned, something which we hardly see, sadly. All the performers usually have these amazing, milky complexions, but that's another issue. It was nice, though, to see the conversation between Ace's mom and Miss Becky being that coherent. Hopefully, we'll see a good, promotable side of that character over the Disney quality dance dusting scene . . .
