It was too quick a turnaround, just like Love Sick and Love Sick 2024. There could have been some rationale for the new attitude. A simple explanation could have sufficed. Maybe he saw May's good works on the TV or was told by an associate. It was nice to see May ask her mom if her dad was sick though. :D
It didn't remove anything from the story, but gave it an even more happy ending.
What I really liked was the Grandmother acknowledging that she had caused mental trauma to both sisters without realizing it. Something like that is hardly ever shown in any drama.

It was one of the very best GMM dramas across all their networks!

Pluto was well deserved for the acting alone. Two titans like Namtan and Film not competing against each other but demonstrating the best chemistry two actors can muster!

In several episodes the grading was off in a few scenes. Maybe they used parts from different takes, or the edit had different colourists?

I thought the same. She could arrest me anytime :D

Let's just give Namtam the best of everything. Anything she co-wins goes to Film.
Anything she doesn't win, like Best Director, Best Makeup, Best Costuming, needs to go to the team that put this drama together. Wow. Just wow.

I love Earth in this role! He is usually so composed and mature. Here he gets to act all sorts of goofy!

To those saying it's over the top, the POV of the main character in all these Ossan's Love stores is meant to be kind of zany coming from an unreliable narrator, or to be more exact a naive narrator . The story is from Heng's POV and in his mind that's how he sees the world and the situation. It doesn't mean the actions are lies, just that they are extravagated at time in the narration.

One drama I really enjoyed that was full of mad imagined situations, almost a drug trip at times, was YYY. Again from an unreliable narrator POV.

On a personal note if he and Namtan (if that was ever a thing) have children they will be beautiful and take the acting world by storm IMHO :D

It was all in his imagination. When the story was not from his POV we see that it was just a taxi. It's called unreliable narrator. The zany parts are all imagined and the fantasy of the character. Adds a new spin to the thought process and story as a whole.

Didn't think he could pull it of, but wow!

I like how the show balanced both views on euthanasia. It really didn't pick a side or put more weight on one view or the other. Kan's view was from that of suffering and his training. Thiu's was from the legal side, again with his training. The suffering of the patients was well portrayed too. It clearly showed the state of their illnesses without being overly dramatic.
Not showing Thiu "forgiving" Kan was well done. A simple "I love you" was so powerful while seeing Kan in handcuffs. We won't know if he agreed with the death of his mother after talking to Kan, but we do know that he arrested him for what he thinks is right.
While I wish for a continuation, any outcome would skew the story one way or the other morally. I think they could have gotten at least thirteen or more episodes, but it was a fitting end.

I don't find many Asian actors handsome, but JJ just had a special glow in this one.

Exactly my point. They hinted at Wad and Bright, May and M and a few others but those couples went nowhere. Yes, Kong and Arthit were a hit because of amazing acting and epic writing, but we got absolutely zero engagement for anyone in their shadows.

They killed what was supposed to be the main drama: Pun and his father's relationship. Just like the original, it was so easily glossed over that it was inconsequential to put any emotional investment into it.

I agree with you. GMMTV series have amazing locations, great acting and beautiful stories. Coloration is good, but they can't seem to balance the audio at times. Even with dialogue the audio is never perfect.
In episode 10 there seems to be an error in the lighting. Don't know if they depended on the natural sunlight, but in the outdoor scene with the motorbike the lighting went dull a few times. Not a deal breaker, it doesn't take away from the amazing acting and gravity, but it's and error.

Is it that Namtan is just the best actress? She seems to bring out the best in any other actor she plays against. She was pure perfection as Giwi in The Player. She chewed up every scene, but still gave way to her co-actors.
The same is true here. She and Film are just amazing together. Neither ever out-does the other, but just the perfect balance. Her interactions with Duangdao are just amazing in both roles.
Just imagine this is her second role playing twins and she still slays it! Ai-oon and Ob-oom feel like two complete individuals! Each has her own individual traits with just adds to the realness.
Namtan should just get the Best Actor Award already! It's about time!

The story is amazing. The feelings, while brought to life by these amazing actresses, is actually well written. The guilt felt by all is really organic and heartfelt. Really the best GMMTV Drama on a whole for 2024!

That being said, the one issue I have with the show is the secondary couple took too much of a back seat. Where are they? GMMTV did the same in SOTUS. We never got to really see the other couples!

Namtan is an amazing actress. That goes without even saying. She is perfect in any scene.
But I really think Film was at her best ever in ep.10. Her acting was just chef's kiss!
