Prince Wasin is so hot, i fell in love with him when he played Yins father in Love Mechanics!! ^^
Wasin is under the king's thumb. And we don't exactly know what happened to his wife and child. We know they were killed, but was it during the revolution? Or was it at the hands of the king? Wasin may very well have a score to settle. In fact the way things are going in recent episodes, you can almost count on it.
Well of course the king would have let Khanin check out the allegations if he wasn't an evil scumbag. But Khanin…
Oh I totally understand his anger. He's young, a fish out of water, and having to learn fast being in this snake pit of a palace.
But he does appear to be a fast learner and hopefully he appreciates Charan now for his restraint. Restraint doesn't mean lack of interest or that you don't care.
this episode was more political but i‘m glad that they show how cruel monarchy can be. The king is literally…
Well of course the king would have let Khanin check out the allegations if he wasn't an evil scumbag. But Khanin is already suspicious of the king and should have known better than to spout off at the mouth. That could get him on the king's hit list,. The only thing saving him right now is that the king wants Tharin to succeed him because he thinks he is controllable, and will up hold the status quo.
I also think that Tharin like Charan knows when to hold his mouth and work behind the scenes. This is getting very interesting. 🙂
If NuNew wasn't the ML I think he would be on the Kings assassination list. Although who knows, there could be an unsuccessful assassination attempt.
Khanin:s heart is in the right place but he's not savvy when it comes to Palace intrigue. He needs to take some notes from Charan who is actually working behind the scenes towards the same goal. So far he's found and saved Thatdanai, and is looking to uncover the truth.
Spouting off accusations when you can't prove them is not the way to reach your goal. So hopefully he gets smarter in future episodes.
And speaking of future episodes those who only want to look at BL sex will get some in Episode 10. The long-awaited art studio NC scene is coming up.
Vedish’s wayyy too fine to just be an extra, dmd better get him working
Update: apparently he does have a credit but they say he's playing a character named Wethis vs Vedish. I'll leave the post below in case anyone's interested in the links.
And he doesn't even have a credit here. He's played by Witsarut Himmarat. Found his character profile on Reddit although it's probably somewhere in Mandee as well on YouTube.
I think you didn’t understand a bit about the entire series. Khanin doesn’t give a fuck about this monarchy…
Before I retired I was a journalist. I owned a specialty medical publishing company.
My take on it is that a lot of people don't have the patience for plot development and watch BL's to watch a couple of men have sex.
I have to admit that Zee and NuNew have great on screen chemistry but you need context. The show needs an actual plot. And I think they are delivering here.
Well also since Khanin joined the royal family they have started to think about other things that might be useful in a leader.
At Khanin's investiture ceremony if you noticed he played the piano and spoke in six languages. Was totally at ease with the leaders of other countries even though he was just brought up as an upper middle-class kid in London.
So it's love story, but there are also subtle clues along the way and some not so subtle about how Khanin will act as a member of the royal family in the future.
He doesn't really care about one day becoming King. He cares about seeing the kingdom advance and become a kinder place to the subjects. Right now there's a lot of evil.
A lot of people watching the series don't think about anything beyond romance and NC scenes and there's a lot more going on in this series.
Edit. In any event I think that's a whole lot of character development in 8 episodes.
Also there's an earlier scene in Episode 8 where Khanin and Charan are on the beach shopping vendors for a Meenanakarin champagne Pearl.
All of the sudden Khanin notices that none of the vendors are women. Charan explains to him that in Meenanakarin women are supposed to stay home and raise the babies while men work.
Khanin is relatively horrified by the 1950s values that are still being promoted in that kingdom, and says it needs to change.
So all kinds of things are going through Khanin's mind from the safety of the kingdom subjects to bringing life there into the 21st century.
It's also the first time the absence of women has been addressed in the series.
Episode 8 is all about Khanin's political awakening. You must have done an awful lot of fast forwarding to have missed it. The last scene was Charan dragging Khanin out of a political rally promoting mine safety and clean air. I think in future episodes you're going to see Khanin getting involved in that.
And you also must have been doing a lot of fast forwarding to miss the fact that the only reason Khanin is competing at all is because he wants to find out what happened to his father. At this point he thinks that he's dead.

If you look above, I tried to educate her. Don't know if it did any good though.
Khanin is the only one of the three heirs that shown any capability in diplomacy and leadership.
