I think you are to harsh. We are here to discuss the series, what ist good and what is bad. It looks a little,…
Actually I don't think she's been nearly harsh enough. The people who criticize the series usually don't tell you why they don't like it, and many times they haven't watched it at all and are only here to troll.

Coming to this group is pretty consistent with having to step over a bunch of cow shit to find an actual discussion.

Not everyone has to like the series, and I'm all for critical analysis. Cow shit? Not so much.

Sorrynotsorry, but people have a right to feel disappointed and write it down to share with others disappointed. To…
That is the problem. It's that most people who don't like the show make no analysis as to why they don't like the show.

In case you haven't caught on this is a discussion group about TNP. It is not a psychiatrist's couch where you can scream and cry Why? Why? WHY?

All that does is make me want to block you.

And speaking of why. If you don't think the screenwriters did a good job then tell us why. And you'll definitely have to translate "simple should be written right too,yk".

I realize that not everybody is a native English speaker much less writer, but I don't think it's too much to ask that there be a style consistent with a sixth grader?

And that we shouldn't have to put up with tantrums?

Wow! And you just asked me if I was 12? That comment sounds like someone who failed third grade. Doesn't anyone learn English in school anymore?

Lately all the BL series from Thailand is no longer PG 13, not that I am complaining. The next prince has Disney…
And if you hate fantasy gay sex scenes you'll definitely like this one. There was another Japanese one I watched years ago and can't remember the name. But I'm finally in the process of starting my profile page. Someone told me how to do it. But now I have to try and remember what I've been watching for the last 6 years. It's going to take me a while.

I think it's pretty well been established that I'm 72.

I'm all for diversity and considered opinions that don't agree with mine.

Unfortunately that's not what's happening here. We get a bunch of trolls mostly who haven't watched the series at all, and a few who keep watching it even though they hate it. And then they bitch and moan about it and don't provide any reasons why they don't like it other than that they don't.

Just makes the group hard to navigate through. I have blocked a bunch of them and possibly need to do that some more.

There's a reason I never had children. I don't have the patience for this.

Maybe you are confused between TNP and Memoir of Rati? Because your profile doesn't even say you're watching this…
I finally figured it out and my profile is no longer blank. I'm not anywhere near finished with it but I've been watching Asian dramas since around 2019.

Apropos of nothing I started watching them when we had a writer's strike in the US and there was nothing to watch.

Netflix has a lot of Asian dramas and I started watching them and as I looked for other ones I found that most of them were on other streaming services. So I wound up getting subscriptions to Viki and eventually IQIYI.

No but I seriously think a psychiatrist needs to join this group. This rabid hate isn't good for you and the rest of us just find an annoying. It doesn't add anything to the conversation.

Not a good analogy. Vegetables are good for your health. Petulant children are not. When I was a kid if I threw a tantrum the nanny took away all my privileges.

Lately? There have always been NC-17 BL dramas. One of the most explicit I've ever seen is Mood Indigo (2019). And the sex scenes were definitely not written by a woman. That one was Japanese.

But TharnType also 2019, was also NC-17, SA turned into a relationship. Mame is extremely freaky. That one was Thai with MewGulf.

I'm definitely not a shipper. I'm 50/50 on them actually being an IRL couple. I'm mostly a fan of NuNew's singing, and I've found the two series that they starred in entertaining. I thought the movie was god-awful.

Are they Oscar worthy performances? Hell no, but I've never seen a BL that is. In the BL drama genre I think they're good entertainment.

What I don't understand is why people would come here week after week to complain about a TV show they hate. If I don't like a show I drop it. I wouldn't waste my time to come back multiple weeks to criticize it.

It really comes down to one thing. If they're dating they would say they are dating. I respect if they want to keep the relationship private but I'm not going to believe they are in one until they make a statement saying they are.

It's their job to have chemistry. They never say a single personal thing about each other on their individual pages. Even their "personal vacations" have a sponsor.

So either they're not dating or they don't want to make any statement to the public about it.

You may think otherwise. Lots of people do.

I've already watched this episode three times to write my review which still isn't finished.

I don't think a 4th watching is going to change my opinion.

As promised here is the quote from the interview plus some introductory statements by me. I have put this in my notes so if you decide to argue with me about this again I will just cut and paste what I've already written. Life is too short for this.

I personally don't care if Zee and NuNew are dating or not, and I don't think they owe us an explanation if they don't want to give us one. That being said the only way to settle the issue is if they say officially: "We are boyfriends, we are dating." That's what every same-sex couple in the Thai entertainment industry has said and everyone believes them. MewTul was the latest. They announced it on the My Ambulove YouTube show, and a few months later Mew proposed.

The only definitive statements Zee has ever made about his relationship status was around a year ago when he said he's never called anybody a boyfriend or girlfriend, and in a separate interview he said he doesn't choose to define his relationship with NuNew. So I go with that.

And if you do a Google search for keywords about Zee and NuNew dating you're going to come up with a similar response to what I said above. There are people who believe they are dating and just as many people who believe they are not dating because they've never really given an answer.

Both of Nu's parents are very media savvy by now. They say what they mean. And if they didn't want to answer the question all they would have had to reply was, "We don't talk about our son's personal life". That would shut it down right away.

Anyway what follows is the quote from the English translation, bad as it is.

I'm picking up at 30 minutes to 34:33 Q. Is for the interviewers, ND for Nu's dad, NM for Nu's mom. I did the best I could labeling who said what.

Q. Who do you miss?

ND: if it's your dad, miss Mom.

NM. Use the stress time to go all out.

Q. The person who's happy here is Mom. Take the stress time thinking about other people to think about love or the people we love.

ND. Don't waste your time on people who don't deserve it. But if it's NuNew, I don't know. Who does NuNew miss?

Q. Follow up on this

ND. I don't know.

Q. Finally, I'll teach you how to make friends. We're not exactly teaching, you know.

ND. We are free to choose who to be with. Just seeing that we will secretly, or do we keep an eye on them or something like that? Check IG. Oh, before, it was mostly Facebook. Most of the friends of the children are friends of the father and mother. Oh, so when we go to do something, we will see, which will know who is friends with this friend, what kind of friends they are, where they go, and how. In this case, we keep an eye on it. We don't find anything bad.

Oh, and our child is a good person. Oh, our child is a good person. Yes, and our child's friends.

NM. Our child's friends, our child talks to us more than our child. Oh, so it's like this. And does child's partner talk to us a lot? Our child's partner, I don't know, I don't know.

ND. I don't know which ones, but I talked to some.

Q. Even needed events or something. And if we talk to each other, which partner of our child? You can just give me an overview.

NM. The child's fans.

ND. The child's fans, the child's fans talk a lot. It will come like this.

Q. This clip will be released. Everyone can come and greet the father. Nubung father. It might be like introducing. Support secretly watching something like that. But other places might ask about worry and want to ask about jealousy? But I'd like to ask if you're protective.

ND. Of course, when them go anywhere, we have to be worried.

Q. Are you jealousy? Like whoever comes in we have to see first, scan? Who is from where?

ND. I mean to say that I don't scan at all. It's not that I can't. There are some, but we don't take it too seriously. If our child loves someone, we love them too, right? It's like that. But then he will tell us, but in reality, we are free. We can choose completely. We don't force anyone. We are not cruel to anyone we like. HE DON'T DATE ANYONE.

NM. HE JUST HAVE FRIENDS TO TALK.

Q. oh, it's like, if our child loves someone, we love them. It's better.

The last couple of minutes of the interview Nu's dad asks the public to support his son's projects.

No mention of a boyfriend. I assume that partner refers to Zee, but the term boyfriend never appears in this interview. Zee and NuNew regularly describe each other as partners so that's no big news.

It's not like Khanin just burst out In a protest song and the piano suddenly appeared in the middle of the protest.

Jay was already singing it. Khanin offered some temporary solutions and promised to look into the issue further. The crowd was still not calmed down and that's when he started singing and the crowd did calm down.

It was a great scene. Can't help it if you don't appreciate it. Now really, calm down.

I think you need a Xanax. There is no actual issue. There was a protest. Khanin offered a temporary solution while he looks into the problem more seriously. Then he joins them in a song to show solidarity and also to calm everybody down.

Really, you need to get a life.
