ppl are giving opinions and critics that’s the point of this place, who are you hurting by saying some things…
If you've actually watched the show and have a criticism then your POV is just as valid as anyone else's. You don't have to like the series to make a comment.

But a lot of what I see here are people just dropping in to spill hate and not actual criticism of anything they've seen. In most cases it's pretty obvious they've never even watched it.

Hopefully now everyone realizes that episode 6 was important for episode 7 even to happen. There had to be a buildup as a couple outside of the bedroom before there could be one inside of it.

In this episode Rachata has lived up to his reputation of being the most evil character in the series. His son Ramil comes down a point or two on the evil meter for not wanting Khanin dead and wanting to compete with him. And the king is starting to realize who he can trust and who he can't. He may not have liked the way Charan behaved in Davichmetha but now he knows that he has Khanin's best interest at heart and will protect him with his life. He's also not going to be in a position to question their relationship if he wants to keep his grandson alive.

This is the first sex scene I've seen in a BL that had some heart to it. Zee figured out that you actually have to take your clothes off to have sex and even removed NuNew's pajama bottoms at the end. Yay for our two virgin heroes. I wonder if they appear in other BLs together if they will have to continue being virgins?

The fact that they are more comfortable with each other really shows, although I thought they did a great job in Cutie Pie considering they'd just met each other and it was NuNew's first time acting much less being in a sex scene.

We got some more Palace intrigue. Joe has escaped and I can't imagine he isn't going to reappear at some point in a later episode to wreak havoc. And the tale of Thatdanai continues. Seems that Khanin still doesn't know his father is alive, and that might come back to bite Charan in the ass after all this time.

And we finally see the start of the relationship between Calvin and Jay. Jay seems like a pretty smart kid and I don't think he believes that Calvin was kidding him by saying he was a prince. But we'll see.

Calvin can not open a packet. Charan's lifelong devotion is paid by his confinement in not even a room, rather…
You need to keep watching. It's not over till the fat lady sings not even in episode 7.

I don't think I could deal with a whole series of Ramil acting like a 2-year-old and his father beating the crap…
I suspect we're going to find out by the end of TNP.

I want a WHOLE series of Ramil and his companion(?)!!!
I don't think I could deal with a whole series of Ramil acting like a 2-year-old and his father beating the crap out of Paytai. Not my version of fun.

NuNew is a terrible actor; he should stick to just singing. Not everyone can be a multitalented artist, and I'm…
I personally think that you shouldn't torture yourself watching a TV series starring someone you think is a terrible actor. There are hundreds if not thousands of Asian TV shows. Go watch one of them.

I can't believe I'm saying this but it felt like the wrong moment for the first kiss. Right after their conversation…
They also love each other. We'll have to see how the scene ends in a couple of hours.

It's funny how different we all are. I try not to hate or judge actors or people in general too much. It's normal…
The people doing this are haters, most of whom haven't even seen the series. Can't imagine bothering to post paragraphs upon paragraphs to a board about actors you hate.

When I don't like a series I just drop it. This is not a place to deal with psychiatric problems, but that is what's happened to internet discussion boards these days. It's not just here.

Jokes aside, Ramil needs serious therapy. Also, I think Charan suspects the relationship between him and Paytai.…
Both Ramil and Paytai need therapy and Rachata belongs in prison. If Charan didn't know about the relationship before he certainly did after Ramil dragged Paytai out of his art studio.

I don't think Khanin's forgotten his purpose but he knows that Charan is investigating. He isn't in a position…
Khanin doesn't trust the king, rightly so. And none of the players at the palace are trustworthy or likely to give him useful information.

The only person in the palace who is trustworthy and connected is Charan.

Charan is also the best fencer in the country and probably well aware of Ramil and Ava's fencing styles.

In the end there isn't much in it for him to win the competition. He's not interested in being a royal and even if he wins all that means is that Prince Tharin will be the next king.

Charan is so shy especially when it comes to romance that I could see him becoming a priest before chasing Khanin.

This is a BL and I don't see anything happening between them if Khanin didn't take the lead.

A BDSM total power exchange relationship, or any kind of a relationship that involves consent can't exist when one or both of the parties have been groomed as children.

I think you would agree that children can't consent, and probably no child would consent to be being beaten and bullied.

But when you grow up in that can you really consent to a relationship that grows out of that as an adult?

Would you consider that 80 little girls that were sold as brides to Warren Jeffs as consenting? What about the three that are still standing by him now that he's in jail for the rest of his life?

I wouldn't consider any of those women as consenting because of the way they were raised.

And in a lifestyle BDSM Dom/sub relationship the sub does not manipulate the Dom. The sub has a need for that dominance and it doesn't feel good for the sub to take the other role.

Some of it depends on whether we're talking lifestyle or playing in the bedroom. And some couples who like to play with BDSM in the bedroom will actually switch roles.

But I don't think any of this actually applies to Ramil and Paytai.

Seems to me that you haven’t watched this series at all considering you should know why the kiss between Charan…
I guess it's a matter of opinion. I've watched it several times. But you don't have to. If you want to see the kissing scenes leading up to the consummation of their relationship, you can watch about 3 minutes of the end of episode 7 and the beginning of episode 8.

I really enjoyed Cutie Pie despite the plot being not horribly consistent.

My car playlist consists of around 100 songs sung by NyNew, and Cutie Pie had a great OST.

That's why I said under most circumstances. In my year of researching BDSM I read a interview with William Brame who is the slave to Gloria Brame, a lifestyle dominant.

The interviewer asked Will why he didn't change his name when they got married and why did they get married at all?

He replied that being the sub means he does what his Dom demands and she wanted his last name so that's the way it went.

So conceivably In a Dom/sub relationship something that outsiders would take as subservience by the Dom could in reality be the sub following his Dom's command.

However I don't take Ramil and Paytai's relationship as being either a life style or strictly bedroom BDSM relationship. Paytai was groomed and quite frankly so was Ramil to accept the abuse that Rachata meted out. They are both victims but Paytai is more of a victim because he gets to be the whipping boy of Rachata and the slave to his son.

I can't tell you but so far none of the trailer scenes have appeared in the series.

If you remember in the 2022 pilot Khanin enters the palace and sees all of these people bowing in the grandeur and he says, "What's happened to my life?" In the series there was Khanin bowing to servants as he entered and his butler Chakri being horrified.

Then there was the pilot scene in the garden where Khanin was wearing that rose-covered suit. And they are trying to convince subjects that they are in love while taking photos on an iPad. In the series what happened is the king reprimanded them for perceived inappropriate closeness. And Chakri suggests that they pretend to be dating rather than issuing a denial. Then you see a short montage of the two of them out and about on romantic dates.

In the pilot Paytai putting the scarf on Ramil's eyes indicates dominance. And in the series he is a whipping boy, so in other words a slave. Under most circumstances he would be the one to be getting a scarf put over his eyes Rather than the other way around.

Might be that the dog collar scene replaces the scarf because it is a stronger signal of Ramil's dominance over Paytai.

But you never know. Paytai did pull the scarf out of the drawer in the series . . . 😉

Paytai reached for the same red blindfold that was seen over Ramil's eyes in the pilot trailer and then again…
I'm not sure. It could be that Ramil as the abuser hadn't been fleshed out in the pilot. And also the writers have an appalling lack of knowledge about the difference between abuse and BDSM.

But that said Ramil is definitely the Dom in the relationship to Paytai's slave so in a story without any nuance it would be Paytai being blindfolded.

I'm not saying that the scarf scene won't eventually be included, but the dog collar scene was much more apropos of the stereotype of a Dom.
