I agree about Siyu being the beneficiary. The family has no right to it, but the way I took it was that the family was so controlling that they just assumed Siyu would go the way the Lu family wanted him to. When he said he wouldn't his father locked him up behind bars! Lovely family.

I guess that could be an explanation, but it was brought up several times that he was married and no mention of it being not official or anything else. It just really bugs me. I've got to remember this is a CDrama and therefore facts cannot get in the way of plot!

Speaking of plot holes, I keep wondering how the dead husband would have had any rights to FL's assets when their marriage wasn't even legal as he was already married. I haven't seen anyone talk about that.

Yay, finally I see someone with the same confusion as I have. And also he was already married so that invalidates their marriage and he would get nothing. Nothing for his family to try to get and nothing for him to leave to his younger brother.

Can you explain something to me, please. We found out that he was already married when he married FL. So that invalidates everything and he had to rights to any of her assets. Why doesn't she just get her lawyer to declare her marriage invalid? That really bugs me and kind of spoils the drama for me.

Let me know what you think when you get further in and find out what I talked about. It really bugs me, because I liked the drama for the most part, but the fact that he was already married when he married Ye Hai Meng makes everything moot as he would have to rights to any of her assets. All she has to do is go to an attorney and declare the marriage invalid.

The fight is over control of the shares Lu Si Nan aquired in his marriage to Ye Hai Meng.
1. Wasn't that agreement fraudulent because the signatures were forged?
2. Lu Si Nan was already married when he married Ye Hai Meng, so; isn't that marriage invalid and therefore any transactions regarding that marriage would be voided?

I'm on ep 19, so maybe these questions are answered in upcoming eps, but it's been bugging me since we learned about his first wife.

Also, why would the Lu family assume they get control of everything because Lu Si Nan left his shares to his brother? The shares are his, not the Lu family's.

Still not getting the whole blood thing: Why did Shen Hui Zhi pretend to need Shu Yan's blood for her medicine? Never could figure that one out and I don't know if it will come up again in the story.

Started this for Cavan Wen. I thought I would drop it as the subs are confusing, but I'm kind of liking it. It requires a bit of brain power as the subs will repeat a sentence instead of giving the translation of the second sentence. So you have to figure out some of the plot on your own, but if you've watched enough short dramas it's not too much of a problem. At ep 11 there's one thing I'm still not sure of.

I don't get Bilibili in my country. Do you think this drama will broadcast on any other sites?

It seems to get added the day it begins. Sometimes the shows on Iqiyi don't show up until the time it's broadcast. At least that's been my experience. It's frustratinig!

I kept waiting for A Dream Within a Dream to rise on the heat index and it never did, despite it's popularity. Then I watched Avenue X talking about the fact that without money being paid a drama won't rise. I haven't watched this drama, but it's so popular that it seems it might be true that you need to paid if you want it to rise.
