Just me or anyone else think FL's mother and ML's mother have some relationship? I don't think they are the same person, but somehow they have a connection (probably FL's mother death plus ML's mother "disapperance") have some kind of connection.
I do think ML's mother did something very wrong or were in a misunderstand that made the whole family hate her. ML's father is clearly hurt and ML's sister seems to be hurt as well. Not only from her father's action, but she seems to also develop a hate for the ML. So, maybe his mother is the real reason for it.
One thing that made me sympathize with ML's sister is the treatment she receives from the father. And if you think deep about it, she is especially harsh to men. And let's not forget that she is very "open" to FL. Is almost like she is "teaching" the FL what she needs to do in order to succed. In the end, I do feel ML's sister deserves better. However, her ideas for the company is simple not good enough. Is not like she is bad or not capable, but not good enough either. It is frustrating, but that is how the plot seems to point out.
Also, I have a theory FL will be the key to make ML's family reoncilie plus I do think she will end up leading the hotel. One interest thing to note in this is that ML's father is looking for the person who suits the most as his heir and he said it could be even a person outside from the family. And for the way I've seen the most capable person to manage the hotel is the FL.
This doesn't mean the ML won't grow and be capable of leading the group. However he doesn't have the same passion as the FL for the hotel. I do think in the end he will be the heir because he shows that he can do better than his sister when it needs the most. Or maybe he and his sister will reconcile and bth of them will share the Group's decision.
Ahn Bo Hyun indeed look vulnerable in this drama. It's about the nuance he display. I actually feel the opposite…
The problem is not him looking vulnerable, but how he looks uninteresting as a MC should be. He is not handsome enough for you to be attract only by looks and forget the rest. And the way he displays the character feels robotic. Also, his character doesn't help at all. For example, Kim Soo Hyun could look very vulnerable in It's Okay not to be Okay, but he had this "man" vibes that you would feel attract to.
L in Angel's also look vulnerable, but he had this cute looks and flower boy vibe that you would just love.
With Shin Hye Sun, I thought that in the first 2 episodes. However she got better. Also, I do feel the problem is her scenes with MC. Because in the other scenes she is amazing.
I don't think they even give us reason why she likes him beside how the boy makes her 18 life felt interesting…
Exactly my thoughts. He is not interesting at all. Actually, there is no male in this show interesting. All of them seem to lack personality. It is sad because if you leave the romance behind the show is amazing. So, if they had a good romance they would be way better than this.

I didn't recognize her either. She was very different from her role in Angel's. My friend pointed out it was her. And I was very surprised, because that is when you realize the actress is good. When she can portray two different characters in a very good way. I loved her in Angel's and I'm in love with her here.
Okay I need to say something because it is the first time that this ever ocurred to me. I like everything about this drama, but the romance. Both romance (between the leads and second lead) feels bland to me. I can't understand why FL loves ML so much. Their connection didn't catch me at all (usually I love childhood trope, but in this one it is bland).
On top of that, Ahn Bo Hyun didn't work as this type of ML. I think someone like Kim Soo-hyun would fit better. The ML character is not good either. He tries to be "the guy", but at the same time he is a damsel in distress. However he is also not the spoiled type and neither gives me the "cute flower boy vibes" or "man vibes" . Also he has no chemistry with the FL.
In another note, I think Shin Hye Sun is carrying this drama. She is an amazing actress and it is impressive how she can change in each role she does. I also like "her sister" actress and I hope I can see more scenes between them. I may confess I like more this part of the story than the couples. I'm also interest about the other characters and their motivations.
Anyway, this drama could do better than this. The premise is great, but as a romance drama is boring.

I used to like cdramas, but I'm not into long dramas or historical one (even though I love history). However I understand your point, because that is the reason on why I watch so many Thai dramas.
Honestly this drama reminds me a lot of Protect the Boss and it is as fun.
The MC was a spoiled good heart guy whose father desperate wanted him to take over business. Meanwhile the FL was a serious woman who only wanted to work. Like in the Protect the Boss, the ML matures when he meet the FL (who teaches him how life is). Also the amount of cliche you only would see in a 2010 drama. I'm very thankfull for this drama. Because I miss the old times and I hate these new type of Kdramas.
Okay. I've dropped this drama when it had released a long time ago since I didn't like the first episodes. But then I heard they actually changed the script after episode 6. So, I decided to try again now since I haven't watched any good drama lately. Frankly, the drama does get better. Is not a masterpiece or a wonderful drama, but I may confess it is better than almost all of these nowadays k-drama for that type of genre. The MC is great and I'm so glad we actually have a likeable Female Second Leader. Her relationship with FL is awesome. Other dramas should take this drama as an example when they decided to do a stupid romance triangle.

I disagreed. I also don't think they destroyed FLs character. She did the noble idioticy, yes. But she didn't change and I also don't really think she is unlikeable or needed to suffer more. You talk like you are not used to lakorn cliche (or even dramas in general).
Saying that, I do agree the separation was a bit unecessarily, but I don't think it was enough to make the plot bad because of it.

I thought it was the ML that hit the 2ML. They fought indeed, but it wasn't directly involved to FL. I mean, I've seen 2ML/2FL more annoying than this so for me it wasn't really that annoying. Especially considering it didn't last for too long.

I think Lalin has a plan. I can't believe she is doing all of this out of choice. In all the episode she was acting like she knew she couldn't trust anyone and she said many times the only person she trusted was Khun Kit. Another thing is her daddy.
