BTW, I'm easy on storyline as long as a drama holds my interest without me falling asleep or skipping scenes/eps, have funny moments that make me go bursting with laughter suddenly and/or giggling with excitement. So, what makes me happy may not be what you like :o)

I didn't watch S1, but roughly got the idea of it after watching S1 highlights in Ep.1 of S2.
After S1 recap, the first 8 eps is on how Kudi LiuLi & husband Pei Xingjian ward off the repeated attempts on their lives and Da Gongzhu's scheming plots to take over Pei Xingjian's properties and assets.
After KLL finally foils DGZ's attempt on seizing their assets, KLL sets off on her long journey to Xizhou to go after her husband who has already left for Xizhou.
After chasing 28 eps of S2, my personal preference is this drama over Blooming Days. But that's my personal preference...
