IMO there's nothing wrong with the cave kiss. Though it looks forceful, there's no awkwardness and coldness towards him the next day. She has even become more concerned and caring towards him in the tavern. And smiling too...
You hate all of the characters, including the leads? Ep 1 is really an intro/set up, so I'd say watch episode…
