many thanks for the refresher. Though i remember in that drama the Yang Kang at that time did many bad things to the good guys, it was probably my wishful thinking at that time hoping that there's still some hope in Kang and that he was only keeping a false front to kill Wanyan Honglie.

#1 Seems like this drama is different from the Felix- Barbara one. Did Yang Kang die like that in the old series?
#2 Didn't Yang Kang betray Wanyan Hong LIe and kill the adoptive father himself in the old series.

i checked out #24 to decide go or nogo.
One sided Good Visual with acting talent while the other is too plain and has lots of room for improvement in performing.
Too slow moving and too solemn.
Half-way through the 37 min episode, I zzzzzzed off to my own DramaWorld!!!
So, it's a NoGo!

TBH the only thing i liked about the JingRong saga is watching the CP played by Barbara Yung and Felix Wong. Other than that, I really hated Jing's silly naivety and the thousands of lies cooked up by the Wanyans, Western Venom & son, and Iron Palm Qiu.

I like this remake, the leads and cast but after 15 eps I've started to FFWD... since I already know how the story goes.
