hey pals, without looking at the cast list, did you recognize Eddie Peng?! I was so surprised to find out Hong Qi Gong is played by Eddie Peng. I didn't recognize him at all, not even after watching him in all his scenes.

IMO SYR is jealous and can't stand his X being a love interest of another man. His suggestion to get emperor to edict a union for him & JL is to primarily rein in his X & cut off her ties with XH and secondarily to avoid the Grand Princess. Deep down, SYR doesn't want to marry the GP

While the Anhe in Blood of Youth are merciless killers, the ANZ anime shows the good side of SMY and team and their longing to get out of their predicament and stop killing for survival. Since the novel is the origin, i guess it should be much more interesting than the variations seen in dramas/anime.
