The second male lead is annoying. At this point Dr. Gao is more likeable than him. He’s too pretentious. And SanSan is just creating unnecessary conflict.
I’m so impressed by Xiao Zhan in this drama. Of course his acting has only improved since this drama was filmed. But he doesn’t disappoint at all. He adds so much nuance to Dr. Gu Wei. While another actor would have made him cool and very one dimensional he adds layers to his performance which makes you see Dr. Gu Wei not Xiao Zhan. The cute awkwardness he adds to Gu Wei makes him so endearing to watch. Also because of his performance the audience understands that his closed off personality in the beginning is because he was protecting himself after what happened. Now that he was finally able to work past that mental barrier we are able to see more of his personality. We see that. It’s not something the drama has to constantly tell the viewers. Overall, just a great performance from Xiao Zhan.
I just wanted to say one thing about the rating score. And then I’ll drop it because it shouldn’t be given so much importance. As someone who has watched a variety of shows. It’s best to ignore the rating and decide for yourself whether you like the drama or not. I’m from the U.S. and we follow this rating site known as rotten tomatoes. It’s commonly known that trolls love to go on there and leave bad reviews. And it usually always happens to shows where the leads are people of color. So I’ve learned to ignore their ratings and enjoy the show on my own. I hope those who come on this page can do the same instead of relying on a score that currently doesn’t reflect the actual quality of the drama. And honestly, I expect the score to increase once those trolls are done down rating it.
The cello performance in the lobby was so sweet. The way Gu Wei looked at her. 🥰 You can see him falling in love. Ahhh! I can’t wait to see his romantic side.
8.3?! Are you KIDDING me? Antis are so pathetic going to this drama page to downvote this work. Whoever manages this page should intervene. It’s really pathetic the lengths these people go through bc this drama is doing so much better than their faves.
Dare I say I love Xiao Zhan but sometimes I don't like some of his dramas Dare I say I can love an actor but sometimes…
If you were coming from an honest place your comment would be accepted. But you’re not. This is the THIRD time I’ve seen you go to the page of a Xiao Zhan drama and leave back handed comments in regards to him and his acting. While also insulting his fans. If you don’t think he’s a good actor you should have known that by the first time. It’s obvious you’re just looking to start trouble. This is also your 3 time leaving a passive aggressive comment on this drama page alone. So the only crazy person here is you.
No one is harshly judging Lin Zhixiao. Also, it’s understandable her attitude towards Dr. Gu in episode 2 even if it’s a little bit overboard. What’s important is that things get cleared up by the end and on episode 3 she’s sweet and funny.
Finished episode 3 and I loved it. Gu Wei and Lin Zhixiao are starting to open up a little bit to each other. I won’t give anything away but there was a rooftop scene I really enjoyed. 🥰 And I loved the comedy in this episode. Lin Zhixiao is a lovable clown. Those “gifts” she tried giving him. Loll 😂
Antis already downvoting the drama after 2 episodes. Don’t they get tired? Xfx and Zimis are large in numbers if we were that jobless we’d go to all their fave’s dramas and destroy the score but we’re too busy enjoying our faves. They should do the same.
Where did you watch epi 2 ? Are there subtitles added ?
On WeTV. Type in The Oath of Love on their search bar and The Oath of Love TV version will pop up. That has episode 2. This is for vip users tho. Non vip users will get one episode each day. https://twitter.com/WeTVOfficial/status/1504026637104402433
Just finished episode 2. We got a little more perspective over Dr. Gu’s ptsd. And I want to applaud Xiao Zhan for doing such an amazing job portraying those emotions. He always makes sure to bring it in those high emotional scenes. Looking forward to episode 3!
This behind the scenes posted by Tencent and translated by this xfx showcases Xiao Zhan’s IMMENSE dedication to the role. He always gives 1000% to all his portrayals and it shows. He’s an amazing dedicated actor. ♥️ https://twitter.com/xiaozhvns/status/1503976515804884992?s=21
