Gu Wei’s characterization is perfect. His character is straight laced but unintentionally funny. And there’s more to him than meets the eye. There’s also this undercurrent of sadness. I’m really excited to find out why. I know some passerby’s were curious over it being his first modern drama. But he knocks it out of the park. Xiao Zhan is perfect in the role. 😍

Their license has always been rumored to end in 2022. It’s just no one really knows which month. I’m hoping it’s March bc I want the drama to air before The Longest Promise. 🙏🏽
