I disagree. The rules are permanent but they are only recently being implemented and are still undergoing changes. And Hunan is being investigated heavily bc of their variety shows. It’s NOT a good time for The Oath of Love to broadcast. And in terms of promo, every romantic drama gets to be promoted by its leads. Why should TOOL be any different? Just because it’s popular already is a poor excuse.
I’m reading some of these comments and, do y’all honestly believe that right now is a good time for The Oath of Love to air? When the artists aren’t even allowed to promote their works? When getting on the hot search can be a double edged sword? The Oath of Love deserves to air at a time where there’s not a huge entertainment clean up. No one expected this clean up campaign to occur. It took c-ent by surprise. So despite my initial disappointment, I’m glad it’s getting postponed. I have a feeling this drama is going to do sooo well in ratings and views. Thanks to Xiao Zhan, Douluo Continent (40 eps) has 5.55 billion views with an average of 137 million views per episode. I think this year, it’s the most watched drama (so far). (I had to check out the statistics. 😅) I wonder if TOOL will break its record? Especially since it looks like Hunan is banking on his popularity to drive the ratings.
