Wish I hadn't followed subreddit comments and come back to this drama. I initially dropped it a episode 1 and started at 2 this time. I think episode 1 would have reminded me that the show was iffy if I had gone back to the start (sigh).

This is just a gut feeling, but the production is sus another set up to milk previous productions and provide opportunities for rookies/idols. Had this same thought with a few other dramas when veteran actors don't seem to give enough prep for roles often repeating aspects of previous characters which has been a huge turn off. For anyone ready to chew me out, I'm not saying this is true, just saying that the production seems like this and this is a turn off.

I just want to know why no one has thought to return to the farm and check the cows memories? Surely one of the animals there would have seen the third person.

Overall, frustrated by the overwhelming amount of talent on the show that didn't do it for me and the oveuse of misdirecting the viewer's gaze, epecially by infantalizing the fl, that kept the plot spinning on its wheels.

I feel she's a good physical actor, so she is pretty alright in this kind of comedy. I do appreciate her effort and I think she loves doing this. I think the behind the camera work and pacing helps with the vibrancy of what you see on screen too. As for more nuanced acting, I still cannot. Every time (every show) I see her do her face thing and drop into her weight to show complex emotion,I just want to ff. I would have loved to have seen Jung So-min here, tbh. I keep thinking she would have totally killed this role after her go at AoS.

Really? He comes off more as a pet than a spouse. I find it icky.

I'm really struggling to make it through this seeason. The constant messaging about serving the state and the people is too much. It could have been handled with more refinement. It takes away so much from the story for me.

You can still be proud of your culture and at the same time root out the parts of it that are not or no longer useful or relevant.

I thought I couldn't be more shocked than the last few times I've been on MDL. Are you seriously ranking levels of mistresses and second families? What about the unfaithful spouses? Do they have no agency? Wouldn't the problem really lie there?

And, how comes your family full of seemingly cheating spouses (this is may come across as an insult, but I don't know a better way to put it)?

I also came from a similar background and still do not find it acceptable to raise a hand to strike a child or any person in my charge. I also don't think her choice to be a single mom, instead of remarrying, is more respectable than the other option to remarry. Wouldn't either be fine when thinking of her and her child's well-being? Of course, there are social rules around her that would make the choice to stay a single mother more agreeable since the child technically belongs to her husband's family.

I'm surprised that people are justifying the mother's actions as simply discipline and that it is historically, culturally, or geographically relative to what is constituted as abuse. Is it not possible to call the situation what it is even though the mom's intention was to do the right thing? We don't have to hate her as she was trying to do her best. Personally, I think the mother stepped over the bounds of moderation and as a consequenceshe more that strained the relationship with her son. It looks like healing will come for the two.

Interesting. I can't speculate as to what the cause is, since that is his personal life and work to go through with professional assistance and a support network. I am just aware that there would be a cause and that I don't need to position myself toward him from a place of prejudice or moral superiority.

I understand that it can be requested, but there are regulations, at least were I live locally, where the records being released seems a lot more difficult than the show make it out to be.

I don't understand "got them through the attorney". As I understood, I found out about it through the attorney and then applied by filling out some documentation.

Wow. Didn't realize how much of a fan base CEW had until I encountered an individual on this site that had a very unhealthy encounter with a fan on this site. I don't know much about his musical abilities, but I'm gonna assume he is capable in this regard. I don't think he has very good acting skills though from what I have seen of his works so far. I hope his skills improve over time and welcome enjoying any of his work in the future if they do.

it's a frustrating watch, tbh.
