Watch lucky romance, can you hear my heart, kill me heal me
I was gonna skip this, because I also really dislike her acting in all the shows I've seen. Didn't make it past episode 2 on She was pretty, yikes. Kill me, Heal me is a classic and Ji Sung was the only reason I could bear her screaming act. So this one is better? Maybe I'll give it a shot...

I really love that drama and come back to it whenever I need a good romcom. I do have to say, though, parts of episode 3 are fundamentally wrong. Those girls assaulting SDM because she's 'dating' their idol, and SDM forgiving them without so much as a stern warning is baffling to me. The wounds she got from their assault, let alone the emotional trauma should not be taken this lightly. The girls didn't even show any remorse. They would just do it again getting away with it the first time. Also, if she was really their idol's girlfriend, how could they not think about how deeply it would hurt HIM to know she was assaulted and harassed because of their relationship. I do not think they captured the gravity of the situation well enough, even for a comedy.

Ah, also in ep 5 he's just being a bully, quite honestly. And suddenly she doesn't try to hide her face anymore?…
Yes, and I have nothing against comedy and weird situations as long as it's well made and doesn't use the same trope over and over again.

So actually, I realized I never finished it the first time around, and even now I'll drop it at episode 14. I just don't care anymore, the main couple got so bland and cheesy at the halfmark (also Go Jin's character did a 180 degree turn within like 1 episode and it literally makes no sense. I wanted some character development, yes, but something that's believable. Most side characters just piss me off, especially the unbelievably selfish second female lead, your typical ex-girlfriend who claims she still has first dibs on 'her man' that she dumped 'due to circumstances' to 'protect him' freaking 12 YEARS ago. They probably dated for like... a year or two when they were 20 something, and you tell me she waited more than a DECADE without reaching out even once and then gets pissed off that he moved on? Man, that woman is delusional, I cannot even tell you how bad that writing is.... even 5 or 7 years would've been pushing it, but THIS? pftt... Same for Segi. Pretending to be his best friend, acting all nice and sweet while planning his revenge for more than 6 years, without a smart guy like Go Jin even doubting anything at all is very strange. Anyway, I enjoyed the first half (especially the first time I watched this), but I cannot be bothered to finish it. A shame, truly. Lowering my rating to 6.

The summary does sound a bit lacking. What's actually the main plot of the manhwa? Is there romance, bromance, friendship? Family? Hm, it's definitely not an ordinary drama I suppose.

Ah, also in ep 5 he's just being a bully, quite honestly. And suddenly she doesn't try to hide her face anymore? How would he not recognize her, even if she has a different hairstyle and less makeup, she is OBVIOUSLY the same person. In the first place it was very dumb of her to sign a contract under blackmail that would have her pay 100 times the fee as penalty. She is too gullible, even when the chairman calls her over to have dinner, she could just say she has other plans that day, what's he gonna do, force her to come? It's like she has no common sense, all the 'problems' around the ordeal are made by her stupid choices. I love the cast, but the script is sorta meh...

You make it sound like it was made a long time ago tho 😂 it's only been a year
King the land was really enjoyable, though! The ML there had a much more solid back story, too. Tae Moo's very one dimensional, imo.

Quite honestly, I never quite got the high ratings for that one. I loved the first episode, and had high expectations, but I just don't see the chemistry everyone is raving about. There's no chase. It's very obvious from the beginning that both parties feel attracted to each other, but I really don't feel the spark. Shin Ha Ri repeatedly making an ass of herself trying to hide her double identity is ridiculous, too. Because she draws attention to herself all the more, if she had just acted normal and turned her face away or hidden it behind her hands or waited somewhat, most of the situations could have been avoided. I know it's for the comedy, but when it's funny for the first or second time, it gets old really fast. Sooooo, anyway, it's a fun watch, but not one of my favorite romcoms. I am rewatching btw, first time I rated it a 7.0, it'll probably remain as that score, let's see. Currently at ep. 6

I'm puzzled. Or the logic should not be applied or because it's a TV drama then the police hurries too much to…
I would say it makes quite sense for the police to suspect her, the car she rented is at the scene and dented from an accident, her letter of resignation is in the living room, so is a hammer with her prints and she obviously has no business being on the property as merely his secretary in the middle of the night (while he is on vactation). There's the blackbox footage of them arguing, too. Of course she would be the prime suspect. But to that's not the main reason to pretend to be his fiancé (because although it would explain why she was there in the middle of the night, it would make her look even more suspicious, it's mostly the people close to us that commit crimes, especially in relationships), but because she seizes the chance to get back at him and have her revenge, she explains that to her friend at the hospital. Her biggest regret at that moment is that because of his amnesia he doesn't remember her shouting at him and swinging that hammer, her first taste of satisfaction towards him. Perhaps you missed all of those little hints by skipping too many scenes?

I was in the mood for something light hearted, so I started rewatching this drama. I remember loving it a lot when I first watched it, and I gave it a rating of 8.0. I actually still really enjoy much of it, but there are some things that just tick me off and I wonder if I overlooked them the first time around or if I just loved the show so much I didn't care. First of all, the male lead is an insufferable jerk, and while we do see his warm side every now and then, he just doesn't learn! Halfway through the drama I would expect to see some character development, but there's zero besides him feeling very sorry for himself (don't get me wrong, I do feel sorry for him somewhat but with his attitude problem, there's no wonder everyone hates him!). The moments I really enjoy in the show are their bickering and her revenge schemes when he just has to take it because of his amnesia lol I also had high hopes for the second female lead in the beginning, I thought 'finally a warm hearted, no BS rich lady who's not afraid to stand up for herself and doesn't only care about money'. Well, turns out she's just as two faced and selfish as the rest of them.
Kay, so after my ranting, I still do recommend you to watch it, it's a highly entertaining show, and their chemistry is quite amazing, too! Maybe just don't binge it like I did, i'll take a break now and continue another time, hopefully my tolerance level for the MLs narcissistic character will rise again in the meantime lol

The only episode I liked was the first episode. I started watching Kdrama with a Shin Hye Sun drama (Stranger)…
You should watch Mr. Queen, she's phenomenal in that one! But don't take it too seriously, it has its serious moments, but it's meant to be a satire most of the time.

I know that it was the dead girlfriend, but I think it was left too vague overall. I never thought her mumbling 'this is your last chance' was meant to indicate they only had one 'try' left (to be honest, that doesn't make any sense in my opinion, why would there be any limitation to the swaps, and if so, who or what would define the number?), I thought it was more of a warning to them, because they had been fighting and turned on each other, that if they didn't get their shit together, they'd not reach their goal and irrevocably end up as enemies instead of catching the real villain. But, who knows, maybe you're right. Whatever it was meant to be, as a viewer, it was something I wished they had better focused on.

If there's something I didn't like, it was how the dead ex-girlfriend bit was a bit strange. We repeatedly saw her doing bows in the temple, but she was a ghost, they should've had a different atmosphere or something, it was very confusing. They also never quite explained if it was indeed the kisses that lead to the change, and why the timing was never the same. Those are just minor points though, primarily I wasn't too fond of the face-off with the culprit ('I was the one who killed your girlfriend!'= in the final episode in front of the door in the hall with everyone just standing around, it was not directed well. How the rabbit got off so easily after attempting 'accidental' murder is beyond me (like a year later he was obviously already out if he was even ever in jail. Yoo Mi needed more time to believably change her tunes.
But, while I was disappointed with the time skip, it makes sense for Eun Ho to need some time to process everything. I just thought it was too long, and I did not like that he kept Na Eon in the dark the entire time. It would have been nice had they shown him at least sending letters or post cards every once in a while.
Anyway, all in all a very entertaining drama with a lot of satisfying scenes, be it in the project, revenge or romance department!

I actually really really loved this show, it deserves more attention! From all the dramas I've seen recently (Marry my Husband, Doctor Slump, destined with you, my demon, the matchmakers...) this one is my favorite! It's not perfect, a little bit all over the place, but it never got boring, and that's rare! There were a lot of unexpected twists (although some were messy), and it was a good mix of romance, comedy and thriller. And Oh the Chemistry! So many good kisses, I am positively swooning. I also loved the supporting basement trio and that the dynamics kept changing because of the body swaps. Definitely gonna rewatch soon, it's a 9/10 for me!

Just finished episode 12, and cannot believe how stupidly fearless Ha Neul was. Makes literally no sense that she would meet him at the side of the road, and then get into his car (albeit reluctantly), and then basically BLACKMAIL him with uncomfortable truths while they're DRIVING on the high way. She cannot possibly be that stupid, considering she's oh so smart. Ugh, so annoying... Truck of doom yet again.

Title True to Love Spoiler
I just rewatched it after watching when it was originally airing, because I had forgotten most of it and I was in the mood for something light. Oh boy, I really did forget about all the makjang drama from the beginning. First of all, I enjoyed the show. I liked the characters. I loved how they touched upon themes that are rarely spoken about in terms of relationships, especially the troubles the married couple(s) are facing, when it might just be small things that add up. However, in terms of pacing, the story leaves something to be desired. Her pining and crying over her ex is taking too much screen time, and her desperation ('I feel like dying') is over the top. While she does continuously say, that she wants everyone to love her and craves attention, she's generally the type to get what she wants. She has a high self esteem and up to the fiasco a pretty good standing altogether. So it doesn't feel believable, when suddenly her whole world revolves around the guy who dumped her, and she's about to give up on everything. I also didn't like how she kept giving her trashy ex second chances (especially in the end, even though she was never going to actually take him back, she says like she feels he has the right to say goodbye, and that's BS. He treated her like shit and that's it... )
I probably enjoyed the middle part the most, the chemistry between the leads is palpable and their bickering turning to friendship yet with underlying UST carries the show. I was proud of Soo Hyuk who stood up to his ex and told her he was going to start loving more openly. I thought 'now, that's finally some character development, there'. So, seriously, the final two episodes just don't make sense. His hesitation to be with Bo Ra and AGAIN not speaking his mind, not confessing his feelings, are a stark contrast to how he seemed to have matured and learned from his mistakes. It seemed way too forced in my opinion and ruined the ending of the show for me. There were more things I didn't like, f.e. the sister's lack of substance (she keeps saying she feels inferior and directionless in life, yet we never learn WHY all she does is party and laze around all day. Why isn't she going to university or looking for a job or... anything really?). All in all I just think some of the characters were one-dimensional, it would have been interesting to know more about their past and backgrounds. Oh, and the youngest at work... Geez, I mean, I know she was supposed to be cute, and she was at times. But she was also seriously so so so so naive and out of this world. I don't believe people like her could exist, unless she grew up in the boonies living with her grandma, only reading books all day long. Who knows, she never got a backstory either. But even so, she probably went to college or whatever, if she's 25, nobody should be THAT naive. Anyway, I'll settle on a 7.0 but only because I really loved the middle part.

This is one drama where I want to see the female lead end up alone. She is kind (hidden under layers of meanness),…
He doesn't hate her. He initially approached her to find out what happened 5 years ago and get her to apologize (and possibly get revenge), but I think deep down he doubts that she is responsible for his gf's death, even though she might have stolen the idea upon command. Also, when she asks him (while in his body): 'Kiss me like you love me. Did you really never feel any love at all?" The way he looks at her (in her body) clearly shows how conflicted he is between hating and caring for her at the same time. I am sure he'll find out it wasn't really her fault, she'll show some remorse and they'll admit the time they spent with each other wasn't entirely in vain. Eventually they did care for each other and support each other (up to a certain point).
