I too think that Hijiri and Kawai don't actually love each other but are together because it's convenient.
I find Kawai's character very interesting, tbh. He seems like a nice guy but also wants to be a "bigger" guy who swoops in to save the damsel in distress. I feel the only reason he sticks to Hijiri(idk for how long) was because his pride got hurt that Hijiri chose a kid over him, even for a while.
Haraguchi is pretty damn cool. I am waiting for ep 4 subs to see her conversation with Hijiri.

Yeah, I think so too. It's just that I want to be sure. I think Kuroiwa said something like "I want to hold you" but I have 0 trust over my japanese and am patiently waiting for the subs hahahaha

I think Hijiri got swept in emotions at the beach, because she was feeling sad when she saw Kuroiwa and the girl, and then when Kuroiwa wasn't there at the meeting place. Perhaps she got overwhelmed when Kuroiwa arrived at the beach and then demanded to know her feelings. Their exchange of dialogues seemed very passionate, and I can't wait to fully understand the meaning.

What bothers me though about this whole thing is, the two of them going home- were they going to her place to do it? If so, I can't understand Hijiri nor can I support her.
