"Happy Camp" with Leo and Neo is out with subtitle option on YouTube. Here's the link below:https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eNxIOjSUXEU
some trivia (it's not explained on the show so for those who would be curious): when they play "words" game and Wu Lei is the one guessing and says "xiao xin" what Neo meant by drawing a heart + a person was a word 心意 [Xīn Yi] which translates as "mind" (according to Neo's fans on weibo)
2021-07-17 Neo guesting on Happy Camp: full ep (ENG SUB) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eNxIOjSUXEU performing 《呼啸的风》 "Our Times" OST song at the end of the show sadly the original song clip has the sound stereo & synchronized but it got so poorly edited in the ep shared on yt (mono sound !!....), what's more it's not a full version but cut & obscured with ending credits, the quality presented by Hunan TV derogates the quality of the artist
..."reshot" ? turns out: not exactly.... now I'm reading on weibo they used some scenes shot by Hou Ming Hao for TLT2 and inserted into this drama as "played by" another actor (Bai Shu as Wu Xie)
the specific timing of the shots: - TLT2 (2019) episode 39 at 37:04 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xBYIvDXzh9g - TLT2: Explore with the Note (2021) episode 8 at 19:02 (already available for VIP members)
Neo's fans on weibo interpret such attitude by the filmmakers as "we're not letting our newcomer fall, let Xiao Hou act as a substitute for him", and they are angry about the fact that Hou Ming Hao is used as a faceless stand-in
as far as I remember Neo was not using a stuntman while filming for TLT2, he played all scenes by himself, so if this is correct that we're looking at Neo's body here, then this is scandalous....
TLT2 2019 was filmed 3 years ago, not this one, with the last episodes in the Changbai Mountains filmed 2.5 years ago - in Dec 2018 /Jan 2019
I have no idea about this show (2021), but it wasn't filmed at the time of filming TLT2, and for sure not before it.... please, verify your information
the title is really confusing, identical to TLT2 2019 (how did it happen???): "The Lost Tomb 2: Explore With the Note" from the synopsis it sounds like they reshot and developed the last 5 episodes of ver 2019 into a new drama... (a long awaited continuation? let me know if they're finally gonna solve any mysteries of TLT2, I'm being sceptical)
edited: ok, I see it now at the time of filming, TLT2 (2019) was named "The Lost Tomb 2" but later released as "The Lost Tomb: Explore with the Note" and this one became "The Lost Tomb 2: Explore with the Note" (sort of s2 i guess)
(for everyone to explain): basically, these are small clips fragmented and split into 12 episodes of the documentary, fans tried to collect them and merged into one piece
I am waiting for subs too 😭😭😭. yay for finally hearing his voice again after SO long , but NAY for cutting…
even with such occasion there are equal and equaler they skipped 4 episodes to sub Wang Yibo's episode first (NewTV Hit Drama)
Wang Yibo's episode alone would be too obvious, they did two (27 & 28) and stopped there (pretty clear to me it's not a coincidence that his episode got subbed right after the release) now the rest can wait - they haven't gone forward with subbing for the entire week (the last one subbed is 22)
better to watch without subs than wait, the number of views counts
I hope it's not, he's a handsome guy and has such beautiful hair, should be playing in dramas where it can be…
I didn't say that he just needs to do modern dramas but I think he will still have plenty of time to play in historical dramas when he's in his thirties he's 25 now, his youth is flying by.... I just would like to watch his youth and appearance being used in dramas as his asset than be wasted like that
yes, we have different preferences, we don't need to have the same
I hope it's not, he's a handsome guy and has such beautiful hair, should be playing in dramas where it can be…
I've seen his acting in LIITA, and he was great there too with his own look, and his own hair did the fact that we could see him in the drama the person he actually is, did it inflence his acting in a negative way? I don't think so he was amazing and there were scenes when I was crying along with him
and this is exactly what I expect from dramas: acting no: costumes, wigs, make-up, picturesque scenery, special effects - all that stuff that obfuscates actual vision* (+dubbing in most of historical dramas)
and playing princes and generals...it seems like now there is a whole army of Chinese actors perfectly "suitable" for these kind of roles, some even "specialize" in the genre and somehow cannot prove their real acting skills by playing in modern dramas (like for example mentioned here below Xiao Zhan known only from historical dramas & movies) but Wang Zi Qi is more than that, he already proved himself in a modern drama, and doesn't need a costume to gain in value, he can rely on his own value
he's talented, young and good-looking, all his qualities should be used on screen, let's leave awful wigs to others
EDITED: * what I mean, in modern dramas there's only bare acting, we don't have all the decoration (visual setting that suggestively stimulates imagination like in historical dramas), an actor needs to rely solely on his own capability, if that is not enough, basically there is nothing left there to maintain substance and save the picture
there are more pictures/videos on the other 2 weibo pages, he doesn't post many on his own one
I couldn't find WZQ's studio weibo, I don't think he has any... (?) maybe 王子奇安利站 "Station" works as such, it posts a lot of material (it looks kind of but I'm not 100% sure if it's official, maybe it's not, but it's worth visiting/following)
I am waiting for subs too 😭😭😭. yay for finally hearing his voice again after SO long , but NAY for cutting…
it's not about hearing his voice but being able to see his acting
like the scene in a prison car where he's choking with tears he's crying and smiling at the same time we cannot even hear much of his voice but we can feel emotions from his acting
the important thing, the series is not dubbed, after 2 years I can finally see Hou Ming Hao's acting in a drama... twenty-five minutes *wow* (waiting for eng subs)
I don't have access to Hunan Tv but episodes on qq (Tencent website) and youtube channel NewTV Hit Drama are the same, example ep. 33 starring Neo Hou, it doesn't matter whether it's yt or not - it has the same number, I don't understand why you claim there is any difference
I've never heard anyone say that they actually *like* the dubbing in C-dramas, so this was interesting for that…
it's not about a "standard accent", that's a lie
many of these dubbed actors have perfect standard accent, and we can hear them in other movies of dramas where they are not dubbed
it's only for technical reasons, especially for costume dramas or fantasy dramas where many scenes are filmed in studios or big spaces and have many special effects, but it is only because of actors "laziness" and schedule, they have next shows and dramas scheduled so they don't want to "waste" their time if they already got paid, and don't bother with recording their own dubbing (sometimes they do and sometimes they don't, probably depends on their schedule and payment they negotiated for the role, really nothing to do with a "standard accent")
when they play "words" game and Wu Lei is the one guessing and says "xiao xin" what Neo meant by drawing a heart + a person was a word 心意 [Xīn Yi] which translates as "mind" (according to Neo's fans on weibo)

this one looks quite complete, includes most of the scenes/shots unaired
(for everyone to explain):
basically, these are small clips fragmented and split into 12 episodes of the documentary, fans tried to collect them and merged into one piece
from these separate bits one can actually imagine the concept of the whole story which got missed in the final version that aired
