I just finished episode 32, and I felt the same way. At no point did the drama really show us that the female lead was certain about her feelings for the male lead. While I understand that being ghosted for so long made her feel insecure, I don't think the writers handled it very well. It almost feels like she was never truly interested in being in a relationship with him, even if she does like him. At this point, we only have the express left. I usually love slow-burn romances, but this has become too slow.
The different story arcs were all very well executed, with great pacing throughout. If they had extended the final arc a little, the drama could easily have had 45–50 episodes without feeling dragged out. I honestly wish it had been longer because it's just that good. I can't believe it's already coming to an end. If it's not the best drama of the year, it's definitely one of the very best 🤍.
