It dropped from 8.5 to 8.1 in literally two hours. The rating has been consistent from the beginning of the drama, until the end and beyond that. Their are cases where people were just unsatisfied with a drama and that's completely fine, but I think this isn't one.

After watching the first three episodes, I'm pretty sure that this isn't just romcom.
Yes, the first episode was very relationship-oriented, but it highlighted the flaws and expectations within relationships. The second and third episodes are more business-focused, so it feels like a slow burn so far. I’m currently checking to see if there are more tags besides just romance.

I’ve been watching Chinese dramas for about a year, so I’m still relatively new, but I’m familiar with the steps a drama goes through before release. What I find interesting is that many dramas that gain early popularity, due to their cast or storyline, often end up being released much later.

i didn't even know this was out. is it worth it to watch just for LYN? i'm seeing mixed reviews.
I personally really liked it but if you want to watch it just for Liu Yuning you might get disappointed because even as the main male lead, he doesn't have that much screen time. Still, i would recommend it, it was so complex and insightful!
