Me too!!! I have been waiting for the 2nd season anxiously (for ~3 yrs) thus my expectations were super high (due to a zillion rewatches), and it totally exceeded all expectations!! 🤣🤣🤣🤣 I love it so far….. only thing whereby I’m in the minority is the OST. I prefer S1’s OSTs.

I loved that too!! Until the whole pirate plot took over….. 🤣🤣 and ruined the fun.

He is!! Yea the cast is amazing, truly. I’ve watched quite a few of Guo QiLin’s interviews/variety shows……. There is just something about him……. He’s a natural, like being a comedy actor is his life path…… reminds me of Wong Cho Lam

I love Fan SiZhi!! Guo QiLin is such a good pick to complement and also contrast FX, ZRY-GQL’s chemistry is great. They are super funny 🤣🤣🤣

I actually prefer the TV series…….. the novel develops in a way whereby they mixed too much emotion with political fights…… so the thing becomes heavier and heavier….. sombre as it loses balance. It became pure politics like post mid-way of the novel…….

Wang Juan made it a very balanced and multifaceted plot…..

lol I’m in the minority whereby I didn’t like NiF as well, I finished it and realised I was neither entertained nor did I learn anything…. How sad.

So I actually thought NiF 2 was much better than NiF in terms of plot….

The plot was changed but it is around 253…….? So I’m not sure if you are aware…. But the fake death thing didn’t happen in the novel…….

lol, you might end up like me and start reading selected chapters…. Coz…… S2 will also end without closure, given there is still S3. And honestly I realised it’s very annoying to watch something exciting with a continuous plot while it’s airing……
