Does anyone else go through like a weekly cycle of sorts because of LBC lol??

For me, between like Saturday to Sunday
I’m in peak LBC excitement because a new episode came out. This is when I’m like OBSESSED lol. I’ll rewatch the new episode like 3 times. Look up gifs and spoilers and watch youtuber reactions. Productivity? I don’t know her. NONE of my school work gets done lol.

By Monday, i hit LBC withdrawal. This is where I’m craving a new episode really bad and would like sell an ovary to get one (not actually lol). No other show quite fills the LBC shaped hole in my heart. This lasts until around Thursday.

By Friday, I’m on a high because a new episode is about to come out and subs are on the way. And I’m back to looking at spoilers from you guys on MDL or Twitter and majorly trying not to get distracted from my assignments or work

Oh, I’m excited for you! The movie is really good. It’s so cinemographic and touching while still retaining some humour. I wish I could watch it for the first time all over again lol. I hope you like :)

A lot of kdramas are so formulaic. I had higher hopes for this drama because it’s based off one my favourite movies of all time that I believe has some of the most unique writing in a k-movie, but this drama seems to follow the typical kdrama recipe, and I’m over it. They really took out everything that made the movie special.

Even if I consider the tv show a completely separate entity from the movie, I just find it boring. I couldn’t even make it through the first episode. The jokes fall flat, the plot doesn’t retain my interest, and the acting isn’t compelling.

I won’t lie. I prefer happy series, but I have no problem watching something sadder as long as it’s entertaining (like HTGAWM is my jam even though it’s miserable af). The whole purpose of this show is to entertain. If I can’t make it through half an episode without getting distracted because I’m so bored, it’s safe to say it’s not very good (for me at least). This is not to say it won’t get better, but at the moment, the writing is uncompelling. Given the spoilers and foreshadowing, I don’t imagine it’s gonna get much better, but I’m willing to give it anoter chance after a few more episodes air.

In short, I didn’t rate the show (yet), but I don’t really blame people for the low rating. I feel the same.

Agreed. I hope they get to do another series with a better script. They have great chemistry (and still have the best kisses I’ve seen in any Asian drama), but it’s going to waste in this series.

I really want to give this a chance but I’m so incredibly bored watching this. Neither episode 1 or episode 2 are doing it for me.

And honestly, I can tell this is going to become one of those shows where im rooting for the couple to break up rather than stay together (like in What the Duck). I get relationships aren’t all sunshine and rainbows but I’ve been tired of Knock’s shit since Bad Romance, TWM, into this season as well. When a partner is so consistently inconsiderate, that’s not a lack of sunshine and rainbows- that’s a shit relationship.

I didn’t read the novel (no eng translation yet) but I’ve been spoiled to high heaven so maybe I can answer this question. I believe Pond isn’t gay and actually ends up marrying ChaAim. I read something about them waiting to have sex until marriage so I’m assuming they get married.

The actor for Pond apparently will be starring in a BL though, as part of the BL couple. You can find videos of this. he looks like a totally different person. Really like soft and docile and like not a huge pervert lol. It’s a big change from his role in LBC

I totally agree. It was a boring episode. It felt very long and pointless. And, personally, i found the fangirls creepy tbh.

Literally same, what will we do when LBC is over??? No BL drama will ever be able to compare. LBC was a game changer and definitely raised the bar.

I was having a legendary bad morning today, thank you to LBC for bringing my mood up! Episode 8 was too cute and the teaser for episode 9 looks....spicy lol. I’m looking forward to it
