Buajajaja...

Sometimes this drama is better than a comedy...lol

And it seems motor vehicles don't have brakes in dramas since they need to bump into people to stop. Mr. Shin's gesture when he saw that Mrs. Shin was going to be hit was priceless...

And honestly, the police in S. Korea sucks. Why are Joo Seung and Ah Ran still frolicking around free with all the evidence against them? If people did things the right way in dramas both of them would have been already in jail and wouldn't have time to hatch up any more stupid vengeance plans and cackle while they do it.

Boring...

People say this is a beautiful drama and it might be, but it's soo boring. People keep talking about the same things over and over again. (I think I may have mentioned that already. They could have made this drama 16 episodes or maybe even 10...

I might power watch the rest of the drama, just so I don't drop it.

So repetitive...

4 years have passed since Eun Ho died and even though that was two episodes ago, it really feels like 4 years. It's so repetitive. I feel Baek Moo and Jin Yi keep having the same conversation about burying first love over and over and over again. I wish they would use the time wisely. This drama could have easily been 16 episodes. I also felt they dragged on Eun Ho's presence. I thought it would be over by ep. 5 and the same thing kept happening again and again until ep. 9.

Practice makes perfect!

Finally! This is how I had been hoping more of the past episodes were like. I love practice and dance scenes.

Slow...

I've come to the realization that Hwang Jin Yi is not a bad drama. It's full of romance, pain, and all of that. But I'm having a hard time with its pace. It's a bit slow. There have been no sword fights (which I should have guessed there wouldn't be), and not many dancing and training scenes. I want more of those and I had hoped there would be more.

And so far the only eye candy is JGS, but he looks so young. So, instead of swooning, I just want to pinch his cheeks like the cute little dongsaeng he would have made at that time.

Men...

They always bring trouble and always seem to want to change women. Eun Ho is torn because he's mesmerized by her dance and doesn't want her to perform it in front of anyone else. Sadly, for him, he knew she was a courtesan trainee when he met her and fell in love with her. -_-;

He's also causing her unnecessary trouble with others. I would have had a very tragic death if I lived in those times. I would have slapped people right back.

I love how they show the training sessions and the dances. I also like the costumes used by the Gisaeng chief of the troupe Hwang Jin Yi belongs to.

Accidents happen..

I love how she is always trying to do some things better while she doesn't really care to be better at others.

JGS looks so cute in this drama, like a little dongsaeng...lol

Some comic relief...

"Ah, this punk looks really ugly." I laughed when Inspector Jang said that, especially since he's no eyecandy himself...lol

I think I'm only still watching this because of the cute moments they do have together and at least, Lee Han Wie & Kim Kwang Gyu, both of them are good actors and do comic relief really well.

The pace is still very, very slow...And there has been no biting on screen.

Tolerance...

The main lead's acting is still annoying, but the story is still interesting and the secondary characters make it worth my while too.

This woman is so thin, so I find it ridiculous that they make it seem like she can't fit into those jeans and that dress when it's extremely obvious that she can, there was even some space left in those jeans. I've seen women get into jeans a size smaller than their real one with more ease than she did.

Also, she needs to stop drinking, at least in public. She always makes a fool out of herself, that's not great nor does it make it endearing. She is not learning from that since she keeps getting drunk and acting like a total loser...

Flat

I was a little disappointed by the ending and that it doesn't show what happens to the others. Did they really die when he left this world? Were they alive? And how did she get stuck being a babysitter all her life...lol

I was also hoping for a bit more devotion from him to her (Sujini) like when he hopelessly followed Kiha around. I hated every second of that pairing... -_-

Hopefully...

I really hope they've finally moved on from the "recover the gold and lose it multiple times" arc.

Wow...

Just when I thought I couldn't adore more Kim Joo Hyuk, he gives the God of War face. Great episode!

That guy....

Ugh...that guy after all his morality and help the needy talk betrays him...-_-;

I loved the fight scenes again and the way they did manage to steal the gold, but what a shame that it was all a trap.

Could be good...

The voices sound all dubbed, or like they are voice overs, and that's one of my big pet peeves with Chinese/Hong Kong dramas. But this episode was interesting and I'm loving the fight scenes.
