I think it's normal to want your lover to trust you and prioritize you over everything. Their situation is complicated due to being from different nations and FL hiding her identity.

It's a nice role reversal because it's usually the woman in a relationship who ignores everything for love. Seeing a big, proud warrior doing it is amusing because yes, he comes off a bit childish

The cast is too big and you can see screentime being divided among the characters. 5 pairings is too much for one drama.

The cast is huge but it basically reads like a who's who of the Chinese entertainment industry. Kudos to them for doing so well with a melodramatic plotline. I even enjoy the actress who plays the Li mother. Her facial expressions are gold😂

I recently watched a drama on Iqiyi and didn't have to pay for the extra episodes. Youku does charge extra if you want to watch the finale early. I'm happy to support official channels but within reason XD

He's pretty talented. In Kunning Palace, he plays a difficult role with few lines. It was all in the eyes and body language.

Liu Ba Niang is a fun supporting character. Too bad her role was so short.
