He isn't that known for romance dramas but he is great at action scenes so we can at least get cool xjx battle scenes. And I get you about how his time is being wasted if they keep dragging it to so many months when his screentime is less so I hope he wraps up earlier than mzy

No I think my wording was confusing so let me explain in detail. I meant Didi said back in WT that he will be filming his next drama till July (jmdh didn't start shooting that time) so we thought maybe he himself was guessing that time cuz melons were saying jmdh will shoot from Feb 20 for 4 four months (till June) but now mzy in H!6 also said how her current drama she is shooting will wrap up at the end of July and she will join another group mid August so ig those melons were wrong cuz both Didi and mzy has now confirmed July in different shows. WT s2 is rumored to shoot in Q3 of this year (Sept)

Maybe director is too much perfectionist but tbh this drama shooting is more relaxing for wang hedi. Sometimes he only shoot 1-2 scenes in a day. He has been very busy lately from his concert to variety shows to roadshows for his movie to now drama shooting. He didn't get much rest so now at least he has some time for himself. Also xjx screentime is not that much in the story and I feel drama is also following the novel very closely. They might expand his character role a bit more but it won't be too many scenes of him in every ep
