It's so satisfying to see YD standing up for herself and TK. I was getting worried because it looked like she was becoming too much of a doormat and taking a lot of nonsense from them. The only way to deal with bullies is to fight back and not doing so would make them torment you even more since they think you're weak.

It's understandable why TK didn't fight back, he hoped it would make things easier for his mother but now he has someone who has no ties to that family except for him to defend him.

As for SJ, maybe now she'll understand why TK fell for YD and not her. Btw, why did the stylists make her and her mum switch hairstyles

They got their distribution license for 36 episodes so nothing was cut. I think the rest are still in post production

Well, they did that because that drama went against rules about not adapting the lives of real people into dramas. I guess there's nothing they could change about the story so they decided to shelf it permanently

On the bright side, maybe it's truly technical difficulties and not because of the 3ml's scandal because there's no good reason why their release schedule has just 18 episodes (and no indication of when the other 18 eps would air) especially since the drama is supposed to be 36 episodes. Maybe Iqiyi decided to wait until all the episodes were ready to air at once.

I'm getting war flashbacks about Li Xian's republican era drama that was also withdrawn by Iqiyi a few minutes after it aired for the same "technical reasons" and hasn't been seen ever again. Dunno why they couldn't check that everything was okay before raising the hopes of viewers

I think this a very realistic progression of a relationship between two people in a contract marriage. GTK hates marriage and OYD wasn't even his "type". OYD was in a long term relationship and was cheated on by her bf who also abandoned her with a child so she's not in the right mindframe to open her heart to another person so soon. Besides, it's been barely two months since they first met each other. If they start creating any love tension too early in the story, their relationship would feel rushed, illogical and cheaply earned

It has its license but it's being delayed because Iqiyi and Tencent can't agree on a broadcast date. Tencent wants to air Snow Eagle Lord this month and then air this drama next month while Iqiyi wants to it to air asap.

I noticed the production team decided to use background scores like in Hollywood productions instead of using particular songs like most chinese dramas do. I think it prefer it this way tbh, hearing one particular song for all epic or touching moments can feel a bit repetitive
