Whatever do you mean? They've been fucking before we ever got attached to Jun and as long as Sorn or her does…
Sorn might see it as them just giving each other what they need, but Penny is not seeing it like it. She is acting jealous and trying to claim Sorn. She clung to him in the past episode, sorry i have FWB but i do not behave like that with them. And i dont see it as her sounding out what is happening but her forcing Sorn to do what she wants. She is trying to claim something, where she has no claim over, because they are only FB. The fact that Sorn steps away from her during the meeting, she asked for, is a hint. Sorn his body language is giving of enough hints. If my FWB says hey we are done, its done, if they have another FWB next to me its none of my business. If they do not inform me about their life, then so be it. Penny is putting more under the ''we are FB'' agreement. I'm sorry, its not always so that the woman must be the desperate one but in this case in my opinion it is. Even their colleagues know it, i believe June already called Penny out on her desperation for Sorn. We can agree to disagree on it. We tend to have on a lot topics the same opinions, this time not.
I watched episode 1 of this glorious throwback to the early days of BL’s immediately following the finale of…
I agree! After such a magnificent series as TopForm, it becomes painfully obvious that the other series are just subpar and can’t match the high quality that was TopForm. Let’s cross or fingers and hope for a fast return of Smart and Boom!
Because he did, that was the whole point. Both Si Eun and Baku went for the limbs. You can’t fight if your limbs…
I do agree with that, maybe it was because BJ heard that SE can be a maniac, maybe he didn’t hit him because BJ thought he could use SE. Maybe it’s just respect or not being easily provoked. It’s one of those situations were the series didnt explain it well enough for me. I never really got why the union or BJ specifically focused on SE, to the point that he kept watch on SE. I like to think that BJ isn’t dead, I know in the novel he was hit by a truck. But with the series, they didn’t show us how BJ died, everybody is assuming it was the boss. I feel like the series deliberately portrayed it that way for the possibility of BJ coming back, so I like to keep my hopes up. I felt a lot more sympathy and empathy for BJ, I had it awhile for BS until he betrayed his friends. I honestly said it before but I don’t think I’ve ever felt so much rage and hate towards a character as I have for BS. I hate it when people betray their friends and BS did it in one of the worst possible ways.
Baek jin na is not so vicious/violent compared to si eun!! Si eun keeps hitting him when he was lying on the ground…
Because he did, that was the whole point. Both Si Eun and Baku went for the limbs. You can’t fight if your limbs are all messed up. Both guys knew that they weren’t going to win from Baek Ji, so they decided to fight dirty. It’s harsh and maybe unfair but BJ formed a threat to them. And honestly the only reason BJ didnt hit SE when he was on the ground, was because he thought himself stronger and more powerful then SE. While SE was just holding on to the fact that SE and BK had a plan, for that plan to work, he needed to go on!
I watched this for the numerous times, it hits a personal experience for me. 4,5 years ago I got a heart and dubbel lung transplant. After my transplant something in me changed, the boring life I lived before, thanks to my disease wasn’t necessary anymore. I could go places, see things, experience life in its fullest.
It’s a very common thing to want to change your life after a transplant. It’s also very common that you want to know more about your donor. I found out about a year later who my donor was, by accident. This series for me hits different, it brought real life problems and issues to the surface, to what a lot of people who received such an beautiful and impactful gift go through.
It frustrated me to no end that Tian had such helicopter parents, and I get it for some parts, their child was sick for a long time and they had to take care of him. That is probably ingrained in how they parent, but after the transplant Tian wanted to change and grow. And his parents didn’t understand that, it was made very clear when they asked Tian to just let everything go, asking a organ transplant recipient to let go, the questions as to who his donor was, it’s a hard pill to swallow. Especially if you feel very indebted towards that person.
I personally love this series, it shows us that it’s never to late to try new things and to let go of certain ideas or futures. Tian got to honor TorFun in the most amazing way, he got to experience her life in bits and pieces and it made him realize it was his home. For me this is one of the best bl series, everything was just good!
dropped at ep 13.. idk how to feel. i cannot say it's a flop for me, but the plot isn't ploting.
I personally feel like it’s gets better after episode 17. I really didn’t like the FL character, I felt she was just so useless. I kept watching for both ML, they have a beautiful friendship, might even be more. After episode 17 the FL had less scenes or was less in the picture, and the series focuses more on the bond between the two MLs. But I honestly took a couple of days after ep 17 because of the frustration. It’s fine if you drop it, not everybody is going to like every series.
Edit: I just read that you like Bromance, have you seen Word of Honor?
Rose, there are a number of reasons why Beok Seom (BS) did what he did to Suho. First Suho took away his first…
Even with all that reasoning you are trying to do, it does not justify beating your friend so badly he has to be hospitalized because he is in a coma! Tons of kids get bullied and abused but do not do this! We all know that if it wasn’t for BS his father, BS would’ve been arrested and jailed for attempted man slaughter!
Also why do those who defend BS always tend to reason that BS was the reason SH and SE were friends or in your case that BS was friends with SE first. SE and SH connected way before BS even came into the picture, BS only tried to talk to SE in the beginning, was because he felt guilty and didn’t want SE to react like his did to the other two guys. BS his own insecurities, jealousy, obsession and possessiveness all got in the way of those friendships, he never once tried to open up or talk about what was going on with him to SH and SE. And you know I get that part because trauma is hard to talk about, but you can’t expect people to understand what is going on with you, if you don’t open up!
Why minimize why SH took BS away from his former bullies because BS was ready to beat the bullies head in with that microphone. Both SE and SH saw he was starting to get agitated and tried to protect BS from it, it wasnt just with the former bullies but also that moment in class when one of the classmates was loud. SH has been very much a person who does not want other people to go to far, to cross the line!
BS was pathetic for joining that side, who held the very people who bullied and taunted SH and SE. Why because they paid him attention because of the money? BS wanted to belong but also wanted to be seen and feel powerful. SH had every right to call out his supposed friend to why he was changing, and non of it are reasons to not only put on a hit on SH but also actively participate in the beating of SH. And let’s not mention that he ran away like a coward while SE was being beaten because it was SE who showed up instead of SE! You don’t need enemies when you have friends like BS, who betray you in the worse possible ways!
I had empathy and sympathy for BS until he started to turn on SE and SH. Two guys who just wanted to be his friends, who constantly paid attention to him, who visited him when he didn’t show up for school or didnt pick up his phone. They were both decent friends who cared!! His sad and tragic backstory went out the window the moment he started actively beating SH. And no he wouldn’t have taken responsibility because he was still blaming others, he blamed Yeong I, even after beating SH. He blamed her to the point that he completely destroyed the friendship between her and SE and SH. Because of what he said to her, she created a distance between SH and SE, never to visit or call again. A girl who had it as hard if not harder then him!
You say change the belief system and the environment, and the consequences would change, I beg to differ, like I said lots of kids have parents like BS and got bullied all through school, but they do not turn out like this! This wasnt just one mistake, this was time and time again a conscious decision. BS had multiple times to change things, multiple times he could’ve done some self reflection and looked what really the problem was. He didn’t do that, not once! Blaming it all on the environment is a cheap way to not blame BS for the actions he took!
Im sorry but yes I blame him and I don’t think I’ve ever felt so much rage and anger towards a character as I have for BS! Being traumatized, bullied and neglected doesnt make it right! And personally if one of my friends ever did this to me or my other friend(s) I wouldn’t have held back, like SE did. That friend would be dead to me, you don’t treat the very people who are supporting you and are there for you, like that!
Honestly after watching the ongoing dramas and Top Form Pitbabe is kinda lacking behind and I cant really point…
I feel the same, with TopForm, we are being treated with a series that has no flaws, the acting is phenomenal, the screenwriters put down a good series, with a good storyline. They are putting us, the viewer trough the wringer when it comes to the emotional scenes. And for a rookie director, he is absolutely doing a mighty fine job. Sadly compared to TopForm a lot of series are just lacking. But honestly I’m hoping this will give directors and additional staff the incentive to change and to try harder. They should use TopForm as an example as what they need to aim for.
And I agree with your part about the communication between couples, they are what now a year maybe 2 years together. Miscommunication or lack of communication should’ve been dealt with long ago. We had all that in season 1.
So far I’m not liking Babe much in this season. He’s just so arrogant and cocky. I’m not a fan of somebody “teasing” their partner with them needing to step up otherwise he’s going looking somewhere else or with somebody else. Just for what reason? To rile their partner up, to get a reaction? To make their partner jealous?
Honestly I didn’t like Babe that much in the previous season either. The way he treated Charlie is just giving me the ick, the constant agression and pushing/pulling of Charlie. Even if Charlie lied or withheld things from Babe, he didn’t need to fling bags in Charlie his face etc.
Where is the respect and the decency to his partner? I’ve honestly been holding out hope that Charlie just leaves, he deserves better, even if it’ll hurt him. Let Babe have Willy, like he’s been “teasing” Charlie about.
Currently only really watching for AlanJef and KimKenta.
😭😭polygamy in a KBL 😪?!! I don't think we would ever live that long to see the day 🥲
Mhh even in Thai BL drama it is hardly ever done. Only polyamorous couple so far wss in Deep Night. I feel the same about China having uncensored BL series, I don’t think we live long enough to see that, but we can keep hoping.
PS. Polygamy is multiple people being married to each other. Polyamory is being in relationships with multiple people. Polygamy is forbidden in most of the world.
You know what I don’t get when I see these reactions? Why is it a problem if people are shipping them, the characters and/or the actors themselves. Does it hurt you personally? Has it had any effect on your own life? I couldn’t give a flying fuck if people ship them, the more people watch these series, the better. The more people watch these series, the more exposure these actors have.
If you have people seeing more to it then only friendship, just ignore it and scroll along. Everybody has their own opinions, interpretations and imaginations, just because you don’t see it, that doesnt mean others have to share the same opinion as you!
I love watching BL series, and I ship characters, actors. Does that mean I don’t see the beautiful friendship in this series? Of course I do see it, but I also see a potential and possibility of it being more. Like a little spark. Makes it the series less good if people ship characters? No it doesn’t. It really isn’t such a big deal as people are trying to make it, ship them, don’t ship them, does it matter? Let’s respect each others opinions!
This is getting ridiculous. You’ll never see people going into BL or GL shows and saying “wish they were straight”…

Is it bad for me to think, if only they were polyamorous, then there wouldn’t have been any problems… I found the chemistry between Do Ba U and Ji Hun somewhat lacking, hell even the few scenes Ji Hun had with Jung Ha Min “sparkled” more. It could have been better, it felt like a dime a dozen, a series that you can watch without getting into the deep emotions.
Edit: KBL have so far been a bit of a disappointment this year, with the exception of the masterpiece Secret Relationship.
I came from tiktok for an edit that was very good, but it made me angry that in the comments they said stupid…
Pff right?! I just came from fb where somebody said that they hoped that in season 3 SuHo and BeomSeok became friends again. I didn’t think my mind could be shocked more, like you want the guy who attempted to murder his friend, to be friends again with his victim? How do you even justify it in your head.
SuHo was a friend, who was nothing but nice to BS, him and SE always checked in with BS if he was okay. They went to his house when he didn’t show up for school or didnt pick up the phone. They treated him like a good friend, and what was the thanks they got? A stab in the back.
SE only ever showed his agression for very good reasons. He taught those bullies to never cross the line with him again. SE and BS are not the same, not by a long shot. Maybe he has anger issues but sadly in reality, the way he handled those bullies, is usually the only way to get them of your back (maybe only a bit less extreme 😅)
I hate it when friends stab their friends in the back, you are absolutely dead to me, if you do that. What BS did, is even worse, it’s unforgivable. Slew of kids have shitty parents, get bullied all through school and do not come out like this. They do not make the conscious decisions to put a hit on your friend and then beat him so badly, that SH wouldn’t wake up for quite some time!
If it wasn’t for BS father, BS would’ve been arrested and jailed for attempted manslaughter. BS was a jealous, insecure and obsessive coward, shown multiple times, the running away when SE showed up instead of SH and got beaten. And beating SH when he was already unconscious.
I don’t think I ever hated a character as much as I hate BS!
Just finished it, I went into it knowing it wasn’t as dark as WHC but I was pleasant surprised. It’s full of comic relief and funny moments.
I will not even compare it with WHC because that would be like comparing apples with oranges. Yes they are both high school series where classmates fight but honestly there ends the comparison.
I loved the friendships between the study group members, I love that they gave the three fighters from the rooftop scène a second chance, and that they became (somewhat) study group members too. I actually even liked the unrealistic fights, I mean common a dude jumps out of a windows 10/20 meters high and somehow lands on his feet, while punching somebody and not breaking his legs. (not to mention the seemingly speed GaMin all of a sudden has)
I do have to say that the last fight was satisfying and just hilarious to watch. Also it was very satisfying to see that certain people loose their job. I liked the fact that they added a girl that put her weight down and participated in the fights, she was a force to be reckoned with. Actually both girls had their strengths!
Watching this after WHC, it gave me some calm after the utter rage, I felt after finishing season 1 of WHC. WHC left me in utter despair about the cruelty and the betrayal, this one (and WHC2) healed that a bit. It was fun to watch, would I rewatch it, yeah I think I would, even if it was only for some comic relief on a bad day!
Finished this for the first time just now, I'll make a bigger review, once im calmer, because currently im way too pissed off. The series was really good, honestly though i don't think a series has ever given me so much rage and anger than WHC1 has done.
At least that’s how I saw it.
It’s a very common thing to want to change your life after a transplant. It’s also very common that you want to know more about your donor.
