The ending still left a lot of unanswered questions, but fr this is one of the few times that I didn't really care because this has been such a fantastically adrenaline inducing show from start till end. And the chemistry between the leads was fantastic. One of the most exciting Kdrama I've seen in 2021 without question.
PS: Also can I just say I don't blame Saebom for being selfish by going back to save Yihyun instead of staying back and saving everyone. Because the people in that apartment showed how horribly selfish people can actually be. Like fuck these people. They don't deserve being saved.
Cleaning mouth are kissing scenes is not really homophobic imo (saying that as a sexually fluid guy). I'd clean my mouth after kissing anyone, regardless of their gender. It's just gross lawl
Honestly, I'm not surprised. When I heard they were planning to make a remake of the movie, especially with an…
Yes, in the movie the ending was like that. They committed suicide because they couldn't face loving each other as men so they wanted to hit the reset button. Which was incredibly homophobic because the main problem between them was the fact that one of them was frigging underage not the fact that they're men!
Non-idols have played gay characters in K-movies and shows (for e.g Kim Taeri played a lesbian in the Handmaiden and it was a very celebrated performance. Just goes to show how toxic Korean idol fandom is.
I honestly got completely turned off by how horrible the FL was treated in the early episodes. I can't ship her with thr ML at all due to this because he instigated it. Not only was he and his friends mean to her but were physically and mentally abusive toward her. Horrible character. That redemption arc did nothing to make me like him tbh instead it pissed me off more because they think they can erase such immense bullying with just a few words.
you guys seriously angry bout the age gap? first do hyun and now rowon? y'all are weird. like y'all aren't simping…
" y'all aren't simping for actors who are 10-15 years older than you?..🙄" lmao that made me laugh because it's so fucking true. People be simping of people who're like 10-20 yrs older than them but they have the nerve to judge others. Not to mention this isn't even a romance drama lmao
I'm kinda glad they did because Bungee's a problematic movie due to its portrayal of romance between a teacher and an underage student and it's a very homophobic movie.
He's one of the best actors under GMMTV because he can actually act. It's a complete shame that he's not utilised properly by them. Give him proper dramatic roles like Inhuman Kiss. He's miles better than some of their ubiquitous so-called actors :/
For the 2nd paragraph, he's a guy who went through a major trauma, an accident in which he lost his father, his…
Survivor's guilt, the way he treated her is because of survivor's guilt not PTSD. PTSD was him having episodes of breakdown where he hallucinated the dead guy.
Survivor's guilt manifests through lack of self worth, lack of self care (i.e him taking all those pills, getting beaten up etc.), impulsive and reckless behaviour, suicidal tendencies etc. Him not accepting her love for him was a form of self flagellation because he liked her.
It's a very realistic portrayal of survivor's guilt because that is actually how it manifests IRL, it's SUPPOSED to be toxic because people who are caring for people with survivor's guilt suffer a lot as well. It's a mental illness, families and lovers suffer as much as the patients. It's not bad writing, it's actually really good writing because they took what survivor's go through to heart and portrayed it realistically. Most people with survivor's guilt IRL actually require intense therapy as treatment and many of them end up committing suicide.
Okay, so I have a love-hate relationship with this drama. It's incredible, really, except for a few bits I never…
For the 2nd paragraph, he's a guy who went through a major trauma, an accident in which he lost his father, his dream and in which he failed to save the boy that the girl he has fallen for liked. To top it off he believes one of causes of that accident was his father selling construction material on the side. Let's not forget the girl he liked lost her sister in the same accident. The accident left him with a lifetime of PTSD and Survivor's guilt. When the bank guy openly accused him of it, and when the female lead jilted him and ignored him, his guilt over liking the girl who lost her sister and potential lover in an accident supposedly caused by an action made his father came rushing out. He reacted in realistic way. That's how people with survivor's guilt act, they have low self worth and they don't believe they have the right to be alive.
So my friend, sorry to say this but it seems like the whole point of this drama has went over your head. It's a drama exploring life of people with PTSD and survivor's guilt. He's not your normal man who's having issues with his confidence and self worth. You have failed to grasp the nuances in the writing entirely.
