BL, trust me a jdrama wouldn't have 100+ comments before release if it was a bait show.
Parasite was not plagiarised from a Tamil film. The similarity between the two films are superficial at best and mostly coincidental. Besides that, even most Indians (I am one) don't care about Tamil movies outside of the South Indian region, why'd anyone expect some random Korean writer to watch them even.
I'm not sold on ISH as Jane. I don't think she can portray someone like Jane well unless they change Jane's entire characterisation (which may ruin her character).
I'm sorry but I LOVE the pace of this show. It's soooooooo soothing, the focus on the dishes is such a huge plus for me as a foodie and a home cook myself + the way the two leads just get lost in each other's eyes is just sooo romantic.
Anyone expecting drama and grand romance and emotional roller coaster should not start this drama because it's not that type of drama.
I'm feeling a bit disappointed by the last episodes (85-95). Secondary characters are just pushed aside. What…
I completely disagree about your view on Sugamone. Not all relationship needs to be an emotional roller coaster. Some relationships, especially the ones that last long, are like the one depicted here. There is emotions between the two and it's depicted through mutual respect and liking for each other. They connect through these conversations rather than through drama and angst. If you look at most couples who're together for a long time or have been married for long time, you'll see that they act like these two than the grand type of romance.
can i watch it for the second leads, like do they have a lot of scenes together?
Sadly they don't have as much scenes but they're AMAZING together. You'll fall in love with Wi Ha Joon if you watch this because he's such a boyfriend material.
Thank you for commenting, according to the sources we found, SK was a break through role, it came before both…
Sungkyungkwan Scandal was her first lead role indeed, but the drama itself struggled to generate high ratings (it averaged only 10% with a peak of mid-13s which is really mediocre for a show that aired on a public network). City Hunter in comparison peaked upto 20% and Glory Jane peaked even higher at 21% (both of these dramas ranked #1 in their timeslot). City Hunter was her breakthrough while Glory Jane was the sustain. You can compare their TNmS/Nielsen ratings for reference.
True, I just meant that Glory Jane deserved more credit in turning her career into a success.
Apparently outstanding enough to become the most watched netflix series OF ALL TIME.
Yeah well before this it was Money Heist who held that title so it does not take a good drama to achieve that. And since 365 Days is like one of the most watched movie of all time on Netflix, the Netflix rankings are far from being indicative of quality. Not saying this is a bad show since I've just started, but I wouldn't use the Netflix ranking as a basis of quality.
I watched first episode and I got super annoyed at Gi Hoon's mum. Like wtf? She has nothing to give to the granddaughter, but she wants the girl to stay with them instead of going to the US where she can actually have a chance to have a bright future without any baggage to pull her down.??? The father's a complete deadbeat who is drowning in debt and she wants him to force the girl to stay?? Wtf??
Glory Jane was a big hit in SK. It did very well ratings wise. Sungkyungkwan Scandal wasn't actually a hit in SK, it generated mediocre ratings. City Hunter and Glory Jane are the dramas that actually propelled her into a "Lead actress" status.
