AGREED lmao Doom had me yawning for the first few episodes so I dropped it completely. True Beauty... I found remotely nothing fun about it as well. Moon Gayoung was delightful, HIY was great but everything else felt so flat.

Han So Hee hit the big jackpot because of World of the Married, so she is a pull for the fans of the show as well. But yeah, Song Kang's the main attraction here.

Despite that it still has generate buzz among international Kdrama fans, I chalk that upto the popularity of the leads mostly.

It's hyped cuz Song Kang and Han So Hee. Replace the actors and no one would even care about the show remotely.

I personally only watched this drama fully for the side characters. Krystal-Kang Minhyuk pairing, the friendship between the rich brats (Youngdo-Bona-Myungsoo) etc. The main leads are deadass boring together.

Jae Eon is Wattpad/Indie romance books bad boys come to life. A very cliched commitmentphobic, womanising, bad boy these female writers love to write about that a beautiful, innocent Mary Sue can redeem. One of the main reason I didn't even bother with this show. It's just so shallow and superficial.

Is this super dramatic or what? I've read a lot of comments saying New doesn't feel like the ML and the FL is a horrible character. I'm now skeptical of starting this. I hate dramas where they introduce characters as mains but then go off tangent and focus entirely on different character and makes the main character look like supporting characters. And some comments about this Ive read said that the ML doesn't get a lot of screentime while the second leads do.

Oh and I've not seen the original yet either.

I liked this esp for the sweetness lol I get tired of intense drama and angst easily esp since how terrible real life has been this past year. So the cheesy, perfect fluff is just right for me. I like seeing wholesome couples like the lead in this one.

Um all of them? Like this s pretty much normal in Asian industry due to the intense fans esp Kpop idols. They even used to have a ban on dating for idols.

This is one o the better filmed Cdramas actually. The sets and areas they chose to film are really aesthetic and premium as well esp the ML's hometown.

Did you even watch the 2nd episode? He stole again after Dongman spared him and gave the money to his adopted brother when he went to the army. Watch around 56min of the 2nd ep.

I know that. He was especially upset toward Sun Oh because he spared Sun Oh from having a record. But he went and stole again. He just threw the away the chance at redemption he was given. Him being harsh toward Sun Oh was pretty reasonable to me.
