Underrated slowburn. It's very well written and performed. YKS has starred in a similar drama (Crazy For You) and he nails the role in both of these shows.
I first saw him in Day6's Congratulations MV. He caught my eye there and I then watched Hogu's Love and became a fan instantly. He was adorable as Hogu, it was as if the role was made for him.
This needs to be said -> But the adult males on this show should grow some balls. Seriously, their lack of spine is getting on my nerves. The kids and the women have far more guts than them.
Anyway, another wholesome episode. Knew Haekang was faking it, that it was a ploy to get back at that spoilt brat.
Also nice to show some continuity about Woochan's father as well, knew it was him when he appeared a few weeks ago but nice to see a confirmation finally.
It's not a love triangle. The ML and FL shows interest in no one but each other. The SML likes the FL but she views him as a little brother and the SFL likes the ML but he thinks of her as nothing but a friend, there's no romantic tensions there.
Melodrama by definition is supposed to be overly dramatic and exaggerated. For e.g Shakespearean plays, soap operas etc.
You cannot watch a melodrama and except it to be calm and without over expression of emotions.

As for the show, they'll prolly make her character older than 22. She'll prolly play someone in her mid-late 20s.
