Clothes are meant to reflect the personality of a character. Gene is an introverted 25-year-old shut in who acts…
Introverts can dress up nicely as well. He need not look like someone on the runway. All he needs are some nice pastel shade t-shirts, hoodies/sweatshirts, some casual joggers/sweatpants and casual sneakers. They're just going out of their way to make Gene look badly dressed.
I really like this show so far except... who tf styled Gene lmao He is always dressed up so badly. Those grandpa half sleeve shirts and baggy pants need to go.
Also am I the only one who was laughing through the Aey family drama? I mean it was so over the top melodramatic. I found it more funny than anything, especially since they were all crying yet there were no tears. I feel bad for laughing through that serious scene lmao
Wait like it’s canceled canceled? Like it’s not going to be aired anymore? Or are they waiting to change etc...?
Cancelled. The source article (the naver link - https://n.news.naver.com/entertain/article/241/0003103081 ) says that the show has been cancelled (I can read/understand Korean) and the PD is notifying the cast and crew of the news.
Crossing The Line & Trapped's fans say no to what you said based on the rating on this site, though Right or Wrong…
Personally, I couldn't care less about what BL fans think. After years of seeing them defend r*pe scenes and glorifying assault as some kind of romantic gesture I have no care for their opinions.
Trapped and Crossing the Line were like fantasy shows. Esp Trapped where while the pairings were cute to watch (I adore the supporting couple in it), the story as a whole fell super flat and had very small substance which was amplified by the fact that it ran for 20 frigging episodes.
Crossing the Lines wasn't bad though, it was short and sweet. Not great, not bad, just in the middle. The lack of development for the stepbros in Crossing the Line pulled it back from being great for me. If only those two characters had some development and the show invested in their story more, it could've been really good.
The only thing I like about this is Ah Jun Peng as Ye Xing Si. He's an adorable looking guy. Everything else is falling flat. The fujoshi girl is a toxic asshat and I wanna delete her existence. Li Cheng is an idiot. And the stalker is just... yeah self explanatory. So disappointing they butchered the stepbro story. I love stepbro romances, but this one just feels so off and flat.
Honestly looking back, the only good show in this franchise is Right or Wrong. It was well written and had commentary.
For my part I didn't like almost all popular dramas... IOTNBO, Itaewon class, The Heirs and Dots (the worst for…
Hi5. I don't like IOTNBO and DotS. I dislike the Heirs and I find Itaewon Class stupid.
Some of my fave dramas of the last few years are the ones that break the mould like Into the Ring, Be Melodramatic, Diary of a Prosecutor, Just Between Lovers etc.
SAME! The Untamed bored me to hell and I dropped it around episode 10 because it was so badly paced. It wasn't bad per se, but it was so slow that if you stripped away the unnecessary scenes the show probably would've been 14-16 episodes long only.
Surprisingly, I dropped cloy and goblin after the first half.. don’t know why.. i’m not sure if this is a…
I'm in the same boat. The first half of CLOY IMO was laugh worthy, full of cringy, ridiculous, over the top moments (especially the parachute scene in episode 4 IIRC, it reminded me of Bollywood movies) that I couldn't take it seriously even a bit. The show got a bit better near the end but it was full of filler BS still.
I'm with you both about Goblin though. The only good thing about that drama imo was the soundtrack and the bromance. Everything else fell so flat. I'm in my late 20s and shows like Goblin do nothing for me anymore.
MDL ratings are something I take with a grain of salt. Most of the top rated dramas here are quite mediocre if you ask me (viz CLOY, Goblin etc.). So I couldn't care less about the ratings. I try to watch things myself instead of looking at what others are rating.
