Lately I've been watching some medical dramas and I always wondered if the things they said are right or wrong.…
There's this kdrama called Obstetrician and something somethning (-. Okay nvm, I forgot the name, sorry lol). But it's one of the better dramas in terms of medical accuracy. It still has its blunder, but it's more accurate than almost every Kdrama I've seen.
As a nurse I completely understand your points. The ER visits for headache or one time fainting, the heavy wound…
Visiting the ER for minor problems is also not good through an ethical POV in big cities where ER usually are packed. You're basically wasting time of doctors and nurses who could be working on another, more serious cases.
I've never heard of that one. But the ones like Viki, iQiyi, LINE TV etc. are all safe so don't worry over those. All websites that have license to distribute a specific show from official studios are safe. The transaction is done through a secure channel. The ones with paypal-based payment are especially safe.
I agree LOL although jCW is so cute as a wimp haha
"—I saw clips, it looks interesting! Yuri character seems more assertive and outgoing than the FL in sweet munchies haha "
-> It's another show about food. Yuri's character isn't very assertive. She's more of a comedic role. Clumsy and what not. There's not a lot of drama in this show actually. There's some angst at the end but it resolves quickly.
"—oh yes! You started it! Yes I love her character! My favorite character of 2020! She maintains her same feisty personality throughout the series. I really dislike when shows alter FL personalities in the second half of the show and make them cry and weep and do nothing substantial. "
-> I absolutely hate it when FL waste time crying. It makes me wanna slap some sense into them (*cough*ParkShinHyeinAllambra*cough*). They could be doing so much more but instead they waste their time crying over what's already been done. -> That's great. I don't want HEJ to turn weepy mid-way through. Angry, ill tempered HEJ is hella fun to watch.
I agree LOL although jCW is so cute as a wimp haha
I actually have a question for you. Does Sungjae-HEJ have a romantic relationship in MPB? I hope not. But I wouldn't mind either way. I just need to know LOL
I agree LOL although jCW is so cute as a wimp haha
"—her character unfortunately becomes a doormat after the first two episodes. She’s gets belittled and ridiculed by certain scum buckets on the show and for the most part, she just accepts it :/ "
-> That's really disappointing. I hope she still gets more roles in the future after this. From the trailer it reminded me of the drama Daejangeum is Watching (the one starring SNSD's Yuri).
I watched Mystic Pop Bar ep 1. Really interesting. Han Eun Jung's feisty character was amazing. It's so refreshing to see female leads who don't take shet from anyone in Kdramas.
Cannot wait for this. PSH is one of my fave rising stars (alongwith Kim Sun Ho and Wi Ha Joon) and I love Nana since After School days (fan since debut!).
I agree LOL although jCW is so cute as a wimp haha
"that reminds me of the current drama sweet munchies(not a good drama) where I ship both the male leads. One of the male leads is actually gay in the show lol "
-> WOAH I didn't know that. I've been patiently waiting for it to end so I can binge it at once (I'm a huge Kara fan so I've been waiting for Jiyoung to do a Kdrama forever!)
"it also reminds me of WDH, how he has the best chemistry with himself... he play two characters in the eternal king lol "
-> LOL Also WDH-LMH chemistry. The bromance is more interesting than LMH-FL chemistry tbh (at least IMO)
Yes, I've read nothing but positive reviews about it so I'm excited.
There's dramacool: https://dramacool.ca/watch/backstreet-rookie-episode-1-english-sub/ or IQ.com as Aishwarya…
Sorry didn't meant it rudely. Sadly when these websites are posted in other sites there's a high chances that they'll get flagged and then shut down through DMCA.
"If other shows have similar bad scenes/bad character behavior and people don’t call out on it, does that mean…
For me both sides are being hypocritical. Underaged actress being romantically paired with older guys is NOT okay. Regardless of how old she looks (which is irrelevant). This is why I'm not okay with her and Park Bogum romance in Love in the Moonlight because she was underaged in it (her real age btw not the character). I never defended this show saying she looks old for her age, that's a stupid argument that yes I agree some people defending the show has used.
There's: 1. Real life age is underaged. This is NEVER okay. 2. Real life age is adult, character age is underage. This depends on your perspective , severity of the act involved and how much you can compartmentalise. It's in the gray area. In this show, KYJ's character initiated it so it's much more easier to overlook. But I would not be okay with this if JCW's character initiated it. 3. Real life age is underaged but looks old for their age. This is a hypocritical argument as well. The people you mentioned are using this argument. Which I agree with you, is a fallacy.
I agree LOL although jCW is so cute as a wimp haha
Yoon Hyun Min definitely. He's one of my fave K-actors lol And he shares excellent chemistry with not just FL but also male cast members. His last drama he shared with Seo Ji Hoon as well and honestly, they had better chemistry with each other than with the female lead lol
Yes, those were not good at all. But I feel like this and Mystic Pop Bar could be a warm return to form for her.
I agree LOL although jCW is so cute as a wimp haha
Omg yes the one with Yoon Hyunmin & Seo Ji Hoon. I've been anticipating that since it was announced. I'm a fan of them both + her. So it's a triple kill lol
She's really good tbh I didn't like her last few dramas (the Undateable and Lucky Romance) though but she's a very good actress!
I agree LOL although jCW is so cute as a wimp haha
Thanks. I'll definitely watch it then. I really like Han Eun Jung as well (been a fan since Secret Love). And I don't mind comedic vibe, I love comedies lol
YES PLEASE. Slap anyone who prescribes antibiotics for flu.
I didn't even major in medicine (I'm a Zoologist graduate), but my lord this bugs the heck out of me. It's not just dramas, it's IRL too.

And yes!!!!!!!! Shinchan, the iconic character!!!!!

Pranksalot brought up a better argument instead: They were more or less okay with those shows because they liked it.
