What kind of a girlfriend isn't invited to her boyfriend's birthday party? LMAOIt was rushed but I think the point…
Guy: "Your best friend and I broke up earlier today" Rumi: "What???" Guy: "I know you liked me so let's sleep together even though her and I just broke up" Rumi: "Okay!!"
That's basically what it was. lmao both of them are bottom of the barrel scum if you ask me. So I felt satisfaction when Rumi's fiance cheated on her tbh even though I don't condone cheating.
For me the biggest con is that most Thai series I've seen have mediocre production values. Especially the BLs, they're budget shows and it shows a lot.
Secondly many of them have really bad sound mixing. The voices feel really off and sound badly dubbed. A huge con imo
Another problem, although a minor one for me, is that most of the subbed Thai series recycle actors. You'll see the same people in every dramas! It's kinda ridiculous. Reminds me of Bollywood with the nepotism and dominance of a small group of people and their families.
So Lakorns are basically Thai soap operas. Got it. I'm gonna avoid them at all costs.
Running Man imo no longer is fun tbh From the list, I like I Live Alone, Kang's Kitchen & My Little Old Boy the most.
I really enjoy shows like Weekend Playlist (it's not subbed anywhere, watched it raw because I can understand the language). It was a refreshing show. Wish they'd make more of it.
Also Boss in the Middle on KBS is another fun show. Would love to see them invite more superiors from different companies.
Honestly though, one variety show I miss the most is Strongest Heart. That was such a heartwarming, fun show. I hope they'll someday relaunch it.
Wow we have similar experiences. I lost my job too due to it. I was completely depressed for more than a year. I've cleaned up my act now and have a steady job now. And agreed, same here. It's one of those dramas that was deeply effective on a very deep level.
Good luck with your college now. I assume you're from India? I'm also from there lol
Just Between Lovers is one of the best Kdramas ever. It's definitely in the top 3 best KMelodramas I've seen and I've seen almost 2 decades worth of it.
