I disagree. The brothers do nothing for anyone, they're selfish and only cause trouble for the FL. Whereas the SIL is doing things all so her children have a better life than her.
I don't like the way she treats the son either. I think favouring one kid over the another creates a toxic dynamic in the family but I can see why she moved the family because SK is an incredible hyperindividual competitive place to be in. She wants her daughter to excel and have a financially successful life and the cram schools are important in achieving that. She already explained why she's so extreme in ep 6. She was a working woman herself but got laid off after she gave birth. She doesn't want the daughter to have a repeat of that life.
The giving the daughter the master bedroom and all is to extreme I agree.

The 1k was for the pre-med school not for chair. And ep 6 already established she was working, she was a salarywoman just like the husband but had to quit after giving birth. Which is why she's so overbearing on the kids because she doesn't want them to have the same life she did. Don't get me wrong, I don't like the way she treats the son either but at the same time from her POV she just wants better for her children. She wants her daughter to be a doctor because it's a secure job unlike the corporative world where you can get laid off anytime esp for a woman.

It's among the worst, the 4th episode was 11%. The saddest part is the drama debuted to 16% and the 2nd episode rose to 18%. Then they started postponing episodes. This REALLY affected the drama. The 3rd episode had 15%, the 4th episode was was postponed ONLY got 11%. The 5th episode (which was also postponed) only rose slightly to 13%. Without all these postponement, the drama easily could've passed 20%. KBS2 sabotaged this drama so hard.

Also I HATE the idea of the love triangle between Taemin, Hyosim and Taeho. IK Hyosin x Taeho is endgame, but Taemin is SO SWEET with her. He's totally husband material.IDK why they made it like this T__T Why couldn't the writer create a sister for Hyosim and pair her with Taemin or something SMH my head.

I actually understand why her. She has 2 kids growing up in an expensive ass city like Seoul, she needs every bit of money she can save for them. So obvly she's gonna be frustrated with the mother. The mother and the brothers are terrible honestly. Hyosim and the sister-in-law are the most sympathetic characters so far imo

14.3% this week. This drama's not gonna hit it big I fear.

IDK why people here are hating on the sister-in-law. She's RIGHT. Look at this from her POV, they have 2 kids in a very expensive city like Seoul. And they're already STRUGGLING with the money, yet the mother keeps pestering the husband. I mean IK it's his mother, but she's fucking irresponsible with money. If you think about it, the sister and Hyosim are in the same spot. Both really struggling with money but are surrounded by financially irresponsible idiots.

Why does this article not mention Live Your Own Life??? If you're not gonna add all the drama ratings for the night, what's the point?

IK it's a subjective POV. I was talking about myself. I dropped almost every drama this year except for 2-3 ones. For me it's the weakest year for Kdrama in ages.

Okay in retrospect, even if this show wasn't that great its impact on PH BL scene was huge. I honestly don't remember PH BL shows before this at all, but PH started making so many of them after this show became a hit.

They should've aired this after everything had ended. It's gonna struggle to rise because most people have either missed out on the episodes or they've moved on due to the constant postponement. It's such a shame. The new episode only rose to 13.7% as well, a Sunday primetime drama getting sub 15% is tragic as hell.

Lee Yumi's portrayal of Namsoon is SO adorable and Ong Seung Woo looks hella hot here!

They're not promoting it. KBS2 really fked this drama up wiht the constant postponement. It's self sabotage atp, the last episode had 11% ratings only. It's abysmally low for a network weekend drama. I don't even remember the last drama that dipped that hard.

As a huge fan of Dr Romantic 1 and 2, 3rd season was a pain to watch for me. Heck I couldn't even complete it and dropped it around ep 8-9. And yes ofc it was a matter of opinion,hence why "Imo".
