I almost never pay for my dramas and movies aside from using Viki, so the fact I was willing to pay for it meant…
I actually bought and received the DVD a while a go, but I appreciate the offer! It ended up being so so in my opinion, but the process of finding was fun so thats all that really matters :)

Idk who the makeup artist is, but they need a different one. The fluorescent red lips and cheap blue contacts of the main vampire guy hurt my soul, not to mention the FL's overload of blush.

I have found two locations that the movie can be found on that work. Number 1 (https://www.yesasia.com/us/runway-cop-dvd-first-press-limited-edition-korea-version/1031437254-0-0-0-en/info.html)…
I almost never pay for my dramas and movies aside from using Viki, so the fact I was willing to pay for it meant a lot, but I couldn't even find a reasonable subbed legal option. Fml.

Number 1 (https://www.yesasia.com/us/runway-cop-dvd-first-press-limited-edition-korea-version/1031437254-0-0-0-en/info.html) is a place where you can buy it for $20USD and in my case it had $15USD shipping on top of that so I decided not to do that, but it does say that it includes English subtitles. Then option number 2 (https://www.ondemandkorea.com/runway-cop.html?from_collection_name=runway%20cop) you have to pay an $8USD fee for a subscription to access it, but there are no subtitles. I did a VPN service on both Viki and Amazon Prime which say that it isn't available in my region, its actually not available in any region since I tried every country available to me using ExpressVPN. No illegal websites have it, no legal ones have it. All links posted on this site and others are from about 2012 and don't work. I'm feeling somewhat defeated...

Title Mr. Queen Spoiler
Idk about you guys, but that ending felt like a cheat. The person that the king fell in love with wasn't So Yong, but Bong Hwan and he ended up back in the present!!! The king even said that he felt like he was missing something :( I kinda sorta get the argument that all of the love came from So Yong's part of the brain for the sake of keeping things straight (as in woman/man not man/man), but to say that Bong Hwan felt none of it and that the king only fell for the female side is silly! All of the quirks and the personality that he fell in love with was Bong Hwan's not So Yong's. I feel so bad for the king knowing how he'll never realize that the person he fell in love with is gone, though, if the writers didn't make him stupid, he would absolutely know after talking to So Yong even once! Great show and somewhat great ending, but that flaw in logic is a big miss for me, very upsetting. It almost feels like the ending was written for an alternate universe where So Yong actually had consciousness and Bong Hwan was considered the ML :(((

Happy ending or sad ending?
I personally wouldn't call it a sad ending. Sure things don't go the way you'd want them to for a perfect relationship, but it definitely didn't give me the cold and empty feeling a lot of other "BL" movies do after tearing your heart out. The phrase "all's well that ends well" applies pretty well to this one. Its not definite that they end up together, but it was easy enough to get the gist of where they end up by the very end of it.

Does anyone know when this will come out/where it's available? When I search the title online I can only find an article saying that the male lead was involved in a hit and run as the perpetrator???

Nagase Tomoya's facial expressions reallyyyy reminded me of Ernest. Idk if any of you guys know who that is, but every time I would get a little bored in the show, Hara-chan would make one of his faces and it would immediately kill me.

Lee Min Ki definitely can act. I recently watch “Shoot My Heart” and long time ago watch “I really really…
The dramas that I watched that made me think otherwise were "Because This is My First Life" and "The Beauty Inside" (of which I only liked "The Beauty Inside"). Based off of what I saw in this movie, I have no doubts that he performed very well in those dramas. He really is talented!

In a lot of Lee Min Ki's new stuff they have him playing deadpan characters. They were so devoid of emotion, I thought he just couldn't act and they only kept him around for his good looks! I'm happy that I watched this movie because it proved that he CAN act, the writers just aren't letting him. 10/10 for great acting!

Compared to Dexter this show is a little more serious (though less gory) and, while the main focus of the show…
One of my favorite parts of Dexter is that he himself narrates his own thoughts, but since this show doesn't have that you're left guessing what exactly the MC is thinking. Nothing beats Dexter's deadpan narration of his crooked thoughts ? I don't think I've heard of/seen any drama with any similar narration.

Compared to Dexter this show is a little more serious (though less gory) and, while the main focus of the show…
There are a few things that make me feel as if it'll end up more like Dexter than other shows. I think the dynamic between the reporter and the MC lightens the darkness around the MC just enough to make the audience like him even though he is a killer like Deborah or Rita does in Dexter, but in the way K-dramas usually give the MC a male friend. His relationship with daughter (and sometimes wife) does this too. In general, his relationships with others, I feel, solidly place him as a likable lead.

I also think that the pure amount and quality of screen time they are giving the MC is making it more like Dexter where other shows can tend to show the police side of things more. As for the quality of screen time, it isn't just him doing evil things with evil background music, it shows him doing things that are normal for him and showing arbitrary things that if they wanted to make him out to be a bad guy they wouldn't show. Like the scenes where it shows him watching videos on how to act happy or sad. If the show was set out to make him evil and unlikable, they wouldn't have shown those scenes and just shown him being evil and deceptive with scary music. Instead they show his struggles to act normal and give him proper justification for acting the way he does, which I am sure they are going to give us more of in the future.

As they haven't yet shown us him killing anyone except for the village leader, there is a little bit of reason for doubting his status as a killer. I personally believe based off of what we've seen so far that he probably was forced to help his father (who he hallucinates just like Dexter, funnily enough) when he was younger with the killings in his town, which is probably why he hallucinates him, but he seems scared of the hallucination so they probably aren't pleasant memories. This could easily be an out for the writers so they can blame his willingness to kill on his father and make the MC out to be the good guy who has only been wronged, but it's too early to tell for that. Then again he may not even be willing to kill since he could not kill the man in the forest out of fear of the hallucination. I will say though, that the pure fact he locked up the reporter in the way he did, though he chickened out which is a little suspicious (I'll forgive it because he made a friend out of it), shows that he is not completely afraid of doing some bad things to people. This along with his issues with emotions/hallucinations places him in the general area of not mentally right, which I am all for. Damn, this one's even longer than the last, it's like I wrote a full essay (/TДT)/

SORRY IN ADVANCE FOR THE LENGTH OF THIS RESPONSE.
Some similar shows that I have seen has been: Kill It, the main character is an assassin/serial killer, but, even though he's the MC they make you dislike him for being a killer; Extracurricular, very serious show where the MC is a pimp, but he's kinda a wuss and isn't really much of a criminal; and Psychopath Diary where the MC thinks he is a serial killer after an incident but actually isn't (which felt like a total missed opportunity). As an honorable mention there is The Smile Has Left Your Eyes, where a serial killer is technically one of the MCs but they focus more on the other cop MC that is working on catching him and make the serial killer character more of an antagonist.

The common theme with all of these (Extracurricular being the exception) is that the crimes of the MC are downplayed/never shown within the duration of the show (to make it look like they have changed)/never even happened to make it so the audience is able to forgive the MC. If they don't downplay the MC's crimes, they just make them out to be the bad guy in the end and crush all sympathy you may have held with the character before.

So far Flower of Evil has stayed on the Dexter path of things which makes me really excited, but, given Korea's track record, I wouldn't be surprised if they gave us something to forgive the MC with. Sorry for typing such a long response, I've done a lot of thinking on this topic and don't really have anyone to share it with ( ̄∇ ̄")
