Is this similar to american show Dexter ?
Compared to Dexter this show is a little more serious (though less gory) and, while the main focus of the show is most definitely the fact that the MC is a killer, other than showing his lack of emotion, the show avoids the fact that he is a killer more than Dexter does. In Dexter the narration of his internal monologue and the constant showing of him stalking a kill or killing makes it very clear that he his a serial killer who enjoys killing, but so far in this show they have not displayed this to the same extent, it's still a really good show though. It's less of a "I am a serial killer" show and more of a "I have killed and am willing to do it again because I have no emotions" show.

TLDR As someone who thoroughly enjoys both shows, I would personally say this is the closest that Korea will probably get to having a show like Dexter and is definitely worth the watch if you like Dexter, but don't expect a carbon copy.

oh... if I have like 4 episodes left of the show, I will just force myself to watch it asap to get it to completed,…
Some of them I do, but it takes a while. I just have to bite the bullet and say "today's the day!" and get it over with (usually with the aid of the 2x speed button which I have been thoroughly abusing lately). It's not always an unpleasant experience, but I definitely don't feel that same magic that I felt when I started the show.
Lately it's become harder and harder to find the magic for shows that are not currently airing :( As much as I hate to admit it, binge-watching shows can really diminish my enjoyment of them, but I have no self-control so that's just gonna be how it is.

I love it! It would be nice if the watch list had the same light dark pattern as the light mode, but even without that, it's still a great improvement that I will be taking full advantage of!

Well, I have 92 officially dropped. So close to 100 hahaha I don;t do "on-hold" at all, since I use it for finished…
There has to be something about the plot itself once it reaches the 12-13 episode area of a drama, because I have the same issue. Once episode 12 hits I lose all motivation to watch most dramas.
It might be that the main couple is usually somewhat together/in love at that point in most dramas, but they still have to fight off the second lead/conglomerate issues/etc. that are keeping them apart or it could just be something about the natural rhythms of my body saying it's not healthy to keep binge-ing a show after 12 hours. Once it's obvious that it's only BS that's keeping a couple apart, it makes it pretty hard to keep watching a drama.

I don't technically drop shows, I just end up binge watching the first 12 or so episodes of a show within a day or two then stop watching it completely while telling myself I'm just taking a small break. I don't move them to dropped because each time I see them I think "Oh yeah that show! Not feeling it today, but I'll get to it eventually. I wonder what's in my Plan to Watch list :)" but they might as well be dropped.
