yeah the writing has taken a hit since she became a commoner.
The first 20 eps felt really grounded and solid. The last 4 have been silly and like a more typical cdrama.
Hoping it picks back up or its going to lose its charm for me

Welp, the writing really took a cliff dive in the second half. I’m still hoping Luo Wensong somehow survived, because he was the only character I found genuinely interesting. If he really did die in that fire, his story feels frustratingly incomplete.

Do they ever explain why the fifth loop is the final one? and why only some days are loop days ?
I watched to the end but I don't think they explained it ........or did I miss the explanation?

Same. Those are the only parts I find boring. Scenes with XL are my favorite but I’m surprised with how much I’ve enjoyed CX in the second half
