Title Love in the Air Spoiler
Mame always sticks super close to the book.
Yes. I noticed that change as well. He also wasn't drunkenly clingy. In the book, didn't someone have to come help him get the girl off him?

Same. I am sincerely hoping that the drama won't go as far. Prapai and the group need to get there in time, it just needs to happen.

I'm sorry, but who smiles after getting cut?
I do when I don't want someone to worry.

Title Love in the Air Spoiler
Of course, I don’t understand why you would go to a party to just hand over a gift and leave (I wouldn’t even…
I think the reason why Prapai wasn't more forceful is because that is a circle of highly influential people (probably the same reason he delivered the gift personally as well). You don't want to find yourself on their bad side or the subject of their malicious gossip. It would have major consequences for his business and leisure activities. Prapai is also very polite, so it would take something quite extreme for him to do anything too negatively forceful. He thought he could handle it with his usual easygoing charm. Which he did eventually, with a tad bit of extra force.

But yes, I definitely 100% understand Sky's point-of-view and can't really blame him for that interpretation. But, he should have discussed it. After all, he was missing a lot of context. And any number of other scenarios that would have looked very much the same from the back where Sky saw but only a few seconds of interaction.

Ah, yes. The effects that trauma can have on what someone would normally do. I very much wish he was okay enough to exactly that - because that would be in-character for him to do in any other circumstance.

*Waves*

Indeed. Changes tend to be quite small-scale. Although they can still have a pretty big impact. Take for instance some of Ae's actions in LBC. Mame could have made some of his thoughts in the book into dialogue in the series, and people would have received those events a little better.

Same with the diary here. In the book, according to the translation I read, it was a piece of paper on his desk. It was less intrusive that way.

All in all, Love in the Air has the most of these little deviations (especially the LoveStorm segment). But she's still delivering what her fans expect by making a faithful adaptation to the source material. And I like that (even if I sometimes disagree with what gets included or not).

*Also, your comment should probably be marked as a spoiler. Do you mind?

The character played by Peat was also a person who couldn't cry in the novel. So it wasn't surprising that he…
There’s a difference there. Not being able to cry and fake crying are different. It’s very clear in the drama that theyre trying to portray Sky as someone who cries. And Peat isnt able to perform that aspect rn. If they stuck to the books and made it where he’s close but never quite there, it probably wouldve been delivered better.

In the book it wasnt a diary though. It was a piece of paper he had left on the desk (at least according to the translation i read). I dont know why they made it into a legit diary situation in the drama.

Sky’s ex paid off one of the race workers to tell Sky that Prapai will wait for him at his apartment. But theyd previously asked Prapai to borrow the apartment and he gave them a key since he doesnt use it anymore.

I like how they are trying to keep the power balanced between them by staying as boss/employee and landlord/tenant. It's going to be messy (as the ending gratefully indicated), but it's an attempt. Hopefully it works for them.

I just read Dec 31st, 2022.
That is the default date many platforms put when they don't have a date. Don't trust it.

More of a moment in time than a story, but it showed a cute dynamic between the leads. Enjoyable.

I reached the breakup scene and just had to stop. Are you kidding me?Your telling me that Li gong is going to…
This is a pretty major spoiler, do you mind adding a spoiler tag?

That whole ending conflict was so very very out of character that I almost dropped. They had other conflicts perfectly set up, and they decided to go with the cliche that didn't even match what the story was doing. To say I was peeved is an understatement.

that's because they are dating each other
Not confirmed. Just heavily implied. Could be real, could be fanservice. It is a bit odd for Taiwan to do fanservice, but it's not unheard of. Especially with a rumored sequel.

Really its a GL version of tharn type It was cute
The only difference between TharnType and Yes or No is that Tharntype went a more triggery and problematic route with its content. There truly is quite a number of similarities both in plot and characters.

Ok. So I’m probably one of the few here who is ok with this format. Short films split into 1-2m parts or clips…
I agree with the sentiment. The format doesnt bother me.
