Got at least 7 years of asian BL's under my belt and never can I recall coming across GL(unless it's like a side…
Most GLs have been movies and short films (Yes or No often credited to be the first GL movie in Thailand, and went on to become a movie series). But there have been several miniseries from various countries. Korea and Japan mainly come to mind. With a few from the Phillipines. But this one may be the first for Thailand.
This writer is amazing. Such a short series with short episodes, but the delivery is top tier. I feel the emotions. I know the characters. And am rooting for every one of our mains and supports.

a question for those who have read the novel! do the events of Hemp Rope take place at the same time as UWMA or…
From what I've been told by novel readers, It's supposed to happen at the same time. And we do get hints of it in UWMA. But it seems like this might go a little further than UWMA. And some of the scenes are slightly different in the trailer.
Viki is continuously behind gagaoolala in subs. Gagaoolala premiers with subs immediately. I'm assuming because…
Whether i prefer viki or gagaoolala subs very much depends on the individual drama. For instance, i found Takara Kun to Amagi Kun better on GagaOOlala. Viki had a few translations that didnt make sense with the characters or context. As well as the overall tone/vibe that the characters gave off differed between the two.
What an oddly charming first episode. I love how awkward and stilted that first conversation was - I guess that…
Viki is continuously behind gagaoolala in subs. Gagaoolala premiers with subs immediately. I'm assuming because they have translators on staff. Meanwhile Viki uses volunteers (unless the production company provides subs, which has happened a few times before), so translation is limited to their free-time and however many people are on the team for that drama. They may also not be as fluent with translation or the program being used.
She spent a stint of her youth being a regular at night clubs. That's pretty much it. Add in some cursing like a sailor. A street fight. And sexy dancing. That's the picture.
Episode 3 especially packed a punch.
But it seems like this might go a little further than UWMA. And some of the scenes are slightly different in the trailer.
And considering the amount of docus thats been put on him being selectively mute, im pretty sure weāll see him speak more later.
But also, someone has hypothesized before that gagaoolala is able to get their translators on it quicker because they give them the script without the audio or video.
