Should be called Otaku Dream Girls. Not bad, this is the best of the three series, but a bit cringe.

My thoughts exactly, I credit her with filling Young-woo with charm, not easy to do under the bright spotlight of the leading role.

It did win. The Daesang. Strange attorney Woo Young-woo won the top prize :)

Maybe she's in with the mob and they have a few judges by the balls. I'd like to see a drama of that nature following this result, if anyone has the courage to make it. They have no fear of portraying politicians getting squeezed.

I thought it was striking at times but not his best work, a good film, not an award winner. I didn't feel the eponymous decision was successfully portrayed - although I was delighted that the sex and gore/violence were eschewed on this occasion, and the mood was enigmatic.

She's the current Netflix darling

Must admit, I never thought I'd see her win a best actress (except maybe in the network-own ceremonies). They should make a drama about awards corruption, like those corrupt prosecutor/mayor dramas. I'm feeling a bit restless that Netflix is going to kill the goose that lays the golden eggs.

Proud? What's your connection to feel proud of someone you don't know? I've never understood people who feel proud of a celebrity, isn't that the thinking way of a stalker, a skewed reality, an overactive imagination? Just feel happy for him. He's not your friend, you contributed nothing to feel a sense of pride.

There's a dedicated award for writing.

Personally I don't know what the judges saw in The Glory, I had no interest in it. What award should Taxi Driver get, and why? Do you know how titles are judged? Let me suggest something... There are exceptional works of art that small groups love, that have characteristics that are unique and exquisite - each work is recognised as singular, and is not widely popular; a piece of art that most people like has characteristics that are designed to please, and by nature are somewhat bland in the eyes of experts.
Example: #1 in the music charts is the song that most people think is *quite* good... but most can name a different song they like better, of believe to have greater quality than the #1 song. Why? Because the more singular a work becomes, the more popular traits it eschews. The most exceptional works cannot be loved or recognised by the masses.

Indeed. What I mean is it's an expert opinion, made with the intention, we hope, to avoid bias. I also think they make a concerted effort not to shun popular titles and genres - unlike many big award shows.

Agree. Every drama thus far has been her best work to date. Director's cut of Anna was super. Jung Eun-chae also nominated for her phenomenal heiress. Highly recommended.

It's a complete coincidence, but Netflix announced (shortly before this ceremony) an investment of $2.5bn in SK over the next 4 years. Just sayin' 😉

Happy for us, who love her!

So pretty. She's been doing quite a few baddies recently, very scary - therefore successful - and a pure delight to watch. In her Jung-E cameo I felt she borrowed something from Jung Eun-chae's magnificent heiress in Anna.

A scrappy film. A 5 minute short story dragged to 100+ minutes. The sort of thing that's produced when your boss says "we've got some air time to fill, make a 2 hour ghost movie, here's $100 for your lunch money."
Must say I feel a bit conned, Viki didn't state this was a KBS drama special - although I had my doubts when it started rolling.
