so: what are they doing with Park Sung Hoon and RIDICULOUS! CAN YOU IMAGINE THAT AN ELITE ACTOR WOULD TAKE CARE…
Maybe he wanted out from this drama and found a back door - a mini controversy. Tbh this casting announcement says a lot, the drama looks like a turkey, the producers have no integrity. Younger actors lack the subtleties of the (slightly) older and wiser. It will suck.
It depends on taste. My fave dramas are hong sisters dramas. They dont write plot nor characters, they write for…
The last one I completed was Master's Sun, after that I couldn't finish any. Even in the words department they appear to set themselves up to hit a home run, but then fail to make a clean hit and the ball bobbles along the ground. Maybe they overthink and lose sight of it - the big hitters run on instinct at that crucial moment.
The most overrated writers most of their dramas are average but have good PR team to make sound every year
Yes. They don't think things through properly and pivot everything on a single, often tedious, idea - which finally gets resolved in a disappointing way, usually because they flog it to death until nobody cares anymore, it's just a relief to get it over with.
This was filmed in 2023, I suppose it was delayed because of the intern strikes or something. Hoping there won't be 'seasons' (i.e. repeats), I'll watch, looks interesting. If it's too Netflixy I'll just drop it.
If you want a private conversation send a DM. That won't feed your narcissism though, you need an audience. How high and mighty you must be to start telling others what to drop. Then pick and choose who can comment - I don't think Praise was talking to you either! Such hubris, totally egregious.
Yes, everything you pointed out is spot on. It's probably down to editing more than a bad screenplay, rewriting…
Even the documentary-style intros to each episode waste time (they gave Netflix English subtitlers the chance to misquote Carl Sagan too!)... Park Jin-joo and Jo Jung-suk's cameos were fillers, shot solo much later.
